Bob Geren and maybe Puig or just release Baez. They may fire Roberts. He is a lame-duck anyways. If they were gonna extend him it would’ve happened by now.
Huh? Do you know something the rest of us don't? Last year the stars the aligned, we fired all our bullets and came up 9 innings short in November. Pretty sure Roberts has some wiggle room for a couple years, especially considering how the players support him, let alone the upper management who were floored by his interview in the original hiring process.
The Marlins have the same record as we do at 16-26. They have a -75 run differential, we have a -4. Pretty insane to be 10 games under 500 at -4 with only 42 games played. Fun year.
He is in the last year of his contract. There were only 1,000 articles on the Dodgers not giving him an extension during spring training.
Roberts is pissing me off, but this bullpen sucks, ppl have been injured, and Barnes/Taylor have fallen off the face of the Earth
JT clears the bases. What a novel concept. I am moving to Denver and am finally getting to see the Dodgers several times a year. I am going to reengage and hope this team becomes competitive again.
Thoughts on bringing back Hanley to play some first/third? Upgrade over Muncy and won’t add much salary once he gets outright released.
9 of 11 no thanks, defensively he's a total mess and he's too moody to add to the clubhouse (and I say that as someone who doesn't put much stock in "clubhouse chemistry")
I'm so impressed with his production this year. I would never have believed he could be this effective for us.
I’m guessing the package is Verdugo and arms. Rental position players - even this good - just don’t fetch much.
