Couldn't find the old thread, so lets start a new one. Happy Pitchers and Catchers Report Day #St. Louis Cardinals
Yep. Likely Tommy John. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...nals-pitcher-alex-reyes-partial-tear-ligament
Mike Matheny thinks playing music during warm ups is 'pushing the envelope" I hate that he makes me hate him more each season. I was a big fan as a player.
Bought myself, brother, and dad all inclusive tickets for two games against the Nationals. Pretty, pretty excited.
Waino is such a swell guy. Also Im kind of surprised this isn't something the teams arrange for their players.
I wouldn't worry about anyone pulling out of the WBC. I think MLB teams look for any excuse to withhold guys from that. Back stiffness is a vague enough complaint that it can't be disputed but could be totally made up.
I was just about to ask what everyone's thoughts are so far. Most importantly, Wacha and Lynn have looked pretty good. Everyone seems to be hitting pretty well which is good too. This seem to be going well all around
Also feels like we went from little OF depth to really good OF depth. Bader, Martinez, Sierra, Garcia... Pham might get passed up.
In terms of actually baseball - things seem to be going pretty well. Wacha still is pitching well, as is Lynn, which are the two biggest worries. Everyone is hitting but wong and piscotty. Not too worried about piscotty
Is that official? I hope so. Im sick of all the crocodile tears over this. I get that it's a bit of a status thing, but it's one damn game. Who cares if it's waino or carlos. It should have zero impact on the either of them or the season
