Would've liked to keep him but yeah he was going to need an extension and would likely want assurances he wasn't going to be loaned out and he would've been behind Walker and Danilo at least.

I guess we can start knocking off silly season rumors in a few days.

So far, Wolves have been linked with about 60 players. None of the rumors are all that outlandish knowing we have the cash. I’m scared of us ending up with something like Craig Dawson though.

Not to be a dick but this is in no way confirmed. Given how much of a shit-show transfer season is, can we not phrase posts ITT as done deals until one of the clubs confirms it?

Bayern signs U-19 squad GK Ron-Thorben Hoffman to the first team. Will be third team keeper and let Tom Starke go back to coaching keepers at the academy. Neuer 2.0 Christian Früchtl will more than likely be loaned out.

Neves isn’t being sold. He’s said repeatedly that Wolves is where he wants to be for this part of his career and that he wants to see how far the team can get. Plus he literally just got engaged and moved into his new house there.

And I’ve actually heard Sanches could happen regardless after a lackluster campaign with Swans.

You can be skeptical of the money the Chinese billionaires have all you want. Doesn’t change the fact that Wolves broke the Championship transfer record twice in a week without batting an eye last summer and are prepared to invest a lot more to make sure they stay up.

If someone wants to swoop in with £50m, I won’t be too fussed when we accept it, though.

Hey, y’all are welcome to try.

Bayern would have to break their transfer record to make it happen. He isn’t going for the £18m we paid.

He left Porto in the first place to avoid being a depth player at this stage in his career. No top 4 English club can promise him a starting spot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Früchtl asked for and was given permission to explore 1 and 2 year loan options. The board would prefer that he stay in Germany but I doubt he goes on a 2 year, as his contact is up in 2020. He’s the clear heir apparent unless the Donnarumma whispers from the winter window come true.

I just read the transcript and what Rummenigge actually said was that Sanches is coming back (another loan to Swansea was rumored) but they’ll be fielding offers for him as he’s not a need. You just don’t know if you’re getting ‘16 Euros Renato or Sucky Sanches.

I personally wouldn’t have him anywhere near the top of my wish list. I watched a few Swansea performances where it seemed obvious that he was a step above the rest of the lineup and obviously frustrated with his opportunities because he would squander basically everything trying to be too cute and not play as a team.

I’d happily take him on loan, though. It’d do him some good to play alongside his countrymen and be viewed as a rotational player for a bit.

I follow pretty much every Bayern social media outlet and spend way too much time using Google translate, as I don’t speak German. If I see it a rumor a couple times or it comes from a news outlet, I bring it here. I also have Bayern tv.

We just signed a content sharing deal with ESPN, so news should be easier to come by.
