EPL window opening on May 17th this year
AND SLAMS SHUT in August before the season*
*transfer windows can only be closed by slamming as per legal guidance from Sky Sports
Would've liked to keep him but yeah he was going to need an extension and would likely want assurances he wasn't going to be loaned out and he would've been behind Walker and Danilo at least.
I guess we can start knocking off silly season rumors in a few days.
So far, Wolves have been linked with about 60 players. None of the rumors are all that outlandish knowing we have the cash. I’m scared of us ending up with something like Craig Dawson though.
No buy back. 25% sell on clause
LeGo is the best summer transfer so far so until someone bests it...
fernando torres to the montreal impact
Not to be a dick but this is in no way confirmed. Given how much of a shit-show transfer season is, can we not phrase posts ITT as done deals until one of the clubs confirms it?
Bayern signs U-19 squad GK Ron-Thorben Hoffman to the first team. Will be third team keeper and let Tom Starke go back to coaching keepers at the academy. Neuer 2.0 Christian Früchtl will more than likely be loaned out.
What was Fruchtl doing this year?
Occasionally being a reserve
i just said it’s a done deal. sorry, let’s get back to Bayern signing another German youth player who won’t ever play for the senior team
At least it’s confirmed, buttlicker
Is he a confirmed buttlicker?
Also haven’t there still been articles about Torres to Chicago within the last day?
According to Bild
They have seemed to be the most regularly linked.
Happy Transfer season, everyone.

I think the Andre Silva to Wolves rumor has legs. We’ve heard it since January.
So just Neymar and Messi then
I read this morning that if Neves gets sold, look for Bayern to sell Renato Sanches to Wolverhampton. They share an agent.
Per his agent, Jorginho is going to City once teams agree to terms.
Neves isn’t being sold. He’s said repeatedly that Wolves is where he wants to be for this part of his career and that he wants to see how far the team can get. Plus he literally just got engaged and moved into his new house there.
And I’ve actually heard Sanches could happen regardless after a lackluster campaign with Swans.
Lots of players say that, and then their wages get tripled and they don't feel that way anymore.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets sold. KHR said in his presser this morning that he’s not going anywhere and Kovac can’t wait to work with him. He’s the master of public subterfuge.
Also, that’s from the same dude that paid 40mil for him two years ago. Not sure what the transfer budget is at Wolverhampton, but I doubt they’d want to drop that much on a gamble.
We’re the third wealthiest club in England. I’m confident we can and would be willing to match wages.
You can be skeptical of the money the Chinese billionaires have all you want. Doesn’t change the fact that Wolves broke the Championship transfer record twice in a week without batting an eye last summer and are prepared to invest a lot more to make sure they stay up.
If someone wants to swoop in with £50m, I won’t be too fussed when we accept it, though.
Every team is owned by billionaires. They had a net spend of 18 million euros last season. I like Wolves and I think they'll stay up next year but pump the brakes a bit.
I really think this is the missing piece City are looking for
Neves isn't leaving wolves.
Hey, y’all are welcome to try.
Bayern would have to break their transfer record to make it happen. He isn’t going for the £18m we paid.
He left Porto in the first place to avoid being a depth player at this stage in his career. No top 4 English club can promise him a starting spot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I haven’t seen us linked at all. Our transfer record is only €42mil tho.
Neuer, Ulreich, Fruchtl, then Hoffman, no?
Früchtl asked for and was given permission to explore 1 and 2 year loan options. The board would prefer that he stay in Germany but I doubt he goes on a 2 year, as his contact is up in 2020. He’s the clear heir apparent unless the Donnarumma whispers from the winter window come true.
You obviously don’t know anything about the Wolves owners. I’m not saying they are going to go the City/PSG route, but they aren’t afraid to spend money.
I just read the transcript and what Rummenigge actually said was that Sanches is coming back (another loan to Swansea was rumored) but they’ll be fielding offers for him as he’s not a need. You just don’t know if you’re getting ‘16 Euros Renato or Sucky Sanches.
I personally wouldn’t have him anywhere near the top of my wish list. I watched a few Swansea performances where it seemed obvious that he was a step above the rest of the lineup and obviously frustrated with his opportunities because he would squander basically everything trying to be too cute and not play as a team.
I’d happily take him on loan, though. It’d do him some good to play alongside his countrymen and be viewed as a rotational player for a bit.
Btw, where do you typically get your Bayern info?
That’s exactly what he did for us too
I follow pretty much every Bayern social media outlet and spend way too much time using Google translate, as I don’t speak German. If I see it a rumor a couple times or it comes from a news outlet, I bring it here. I also have Bayern tv.
We just signed a content sharing deal with ESPN, so news should be easier to come by.
Oh awesome we wont buy anyone till fucking August again.

Also the Express is garbage. Rafa wants full control over transfers and an established transfer budget. No demands of 100 mil, can’t imagine he’s asking to double his salary either.
Seeing all this transfer rumors reminds me of the good old days with the daily soccer thread.
Daily soccer thread and pick'em
Thought yesterday he was going to PSG?
It's almost like his agent is feeding papers bullshit stories to drive up leverage. Crazy.
