ESPN has enough stations they could broadcast almost every game. Its like if someone bought the rights to the NCAA tournament and broadcast 1 game per time slot and made you have to pay extra to watch the rest.
CBS knows how to use its various channels to broadcast games going on concurrently (March madness). I hope that translates to CL.
I believe that Turner operated the majority of tv broadcasts, right? ...oddly enough, Turner has been of no help or use to soccer fans for CL and EL coverage while they have had it.

I don’t disagree but The content creates itself. They did a MOTD show or show all highlights in a condensed format it’d be easy money. I’d absolutely watch an hour, or two, show highlighting plays. I’m with you, it’s zero effort.
I think it is dumb. It’s a continental tournament. All having it in US is doing is paving the way for the sheiks to get it down there consistently. Highest bidder.
