I'm getting dizzy
Don't stand up so quickly after you finish blowing street persons.
I've got enough experience to know better than that
So he was already penciled in as a bench player to the guy that got his last reps in HS? Wasn’t Charbonnet out all spring as well?
I don’t think he was penciled in as a bench player, but he was far from presumed to be a started if he wasn’t suspended during the spring. Yes Charbonnet was out, but Christian Turner would likely have passed him, who was a freshman. And Evans basically got the same amount of carries as walk on Tru Wilson.
It hurts as he was the most experienced player coming back, but even if back, no one expected him to be the primary ball carrier.
Charbonnet was not available for spring, and that sets back the likelihood that he can be a clear #1 early on. Wilson is a solid inside runner and a top-tier blocking back. Turner will pick up Evans' likely role. It's not that he's necessarily an upgrade, just not much of a variance in a limited role.
Live look at Michigan's new starting RB
Long time lurker, first time poster. Where is the good Michigan thread?
Here you go, friend!
You've got to message LMNOP to get private board access
I love that he only posts on the private board after everyone started calling him lmadnop
I believe the 2016 Iowa Hawkeyes started the dagger into the LMNOP tmb comeback tour and then Urban Meyer drove it home and finished him for good. Gone but not forgotten.
Describe what it’s like for Michigan fans lololol
Thanks I did, go blue.
UM's running back situation isn't very good. Evans could have helped it, and probably would be a better fit for this offense than the one they've been playing his first three years.
That said, if he was still in school and UM fans were in here saying "replacing Higdon is nothing because we still have Chris Evans," wouldn't people think that's kind of stupid? In terms of impact, he's probably no better than 2-3 other guys they can put out there. He's just more experienced and would have provided depth at a position where they don't have a ton of either. Based on what he's shown for 3 years, it's probably not much of a loss. If Charbonnet and Turner suck or get hurt, it's probably going to be an issue.
All I’m hearing is RIP wolves
Damn, just when Michigan was on the precipice of being back.
Lots of chatter on the private board about your request..."who's this Frank Reynolds fellow? Is he a true Michigan Man?"
I gave you my strongest recommendation.
you have already moved ahead of gw8 in the queue
I'm in, thanks for all the support and well wishes.
gowolverines8 , I'm supposed to tell you to suck my dick and go blue
Being thin at RB might actually benefit your offense if it forces Harbaugh to follow through with his promise to open the passing game.
Early congratulations to Barry Alvarez
Thinking Gene Smith is a shoo-in.
Do those cunts Coke and moxin post on the private board?
Glad it’s an outside guy
Also glad it's a football guy.
He looks to be a large and intimidating fella, time to stand up to Sankey and Swofford and espn
Seems to be a good person ..
In 2014, Warren and his wife Greta created Carolyn's Comforts, in conjunction with the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, donating $1 million to honor the legacy of his sister Carolyn Elaine Warren-Knox who passed away of brain cancer in October 2014. Since the inception of Carolyn's Comforts, over 150 financial grants have been made to families in need.
Warren and his wife Greta have also "adopted" Lucy Craft Laney Community School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For each of the past 5 years, the Warrens have donated hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies to the student body. Among the resources they have contributed are school supplies, school uniforms, and athletic uniforms.
In 2017, the Warrens established the No Doors Closed Scholarships which aims to give 4 first generation college students a better chance to succeed.
I’m already a fan
I hope the new guy favors Ohio State and doesn’t like Michigan.
I just hope he's anti child rape, punishes universities that employ domestic abusers, and cracks down on colleges that ignore institutionalized rape of their students. Pretty simple stuff.
I doubt there is a majority of Big Ten ADs who support this agenda. You’re outnumbered.
Plus, this guy went to Notre Dame.
Hey, man. Everyone kills people. Murders you, murders me.
Not sure if it also happened on the mainboard as well, but moxin got called out for being a racist dickhead on the private board and he's been ghost since then.
Would have preferred Bill Moos or universally revered pat fitzgerald to keep up our B1G values
I was going to make a joke tomorrow about welcoming our new Purple overlords when Phillips was introduced. Guess I still can?
He lives 12 houses away from PJ and 6 houses away from where Pitino lived until he moved last year. We will soon find out how good of neighbors the Gophers coaches are/were.
So an African-American commissioner who is big on diversity?
It’s Penn State time, baby!
As long as the new guy doesn’t like Michigan, I’m okay with this.
Sounds like a nice story, except where the parents tell the crippled adolescent that if he wants a pool, he can damn well pay for it.
He's a Domer, so it's a certainty.
I don’t trust this guy. How does an 11 year old pay for a pool?
Sweet-ass settlement from the driver?
