What happened to the Husker vs Buffs game thread?
Tennessee gets a ridiculous overturn and then a deflected TD catch back to back against BYU.
Where is your god now Mormons?
Fuck Tennessee tho
Urban is amazing on the Fox coverage with his breakdowns
congrats to ShuPoor
oh snap Tennessee lost again that's pretty cool
It’s starting to be a bit boring
It was funnier last week, now it’s like watching super trooper 2.
it was definitely funnier last week, but the degree of funny hasn't fallen off that much man, we've still got plenty of cheeky and fun shenanigans on this UT ride left before they become cruel and tragic
bam related post who wants a mustache ride
Maybe you missed the disclaimer, but my predictions don’t account for weather delays.
PJ Fleck is a weird dude
you just say this because they made fun of Canada
Bama being on there twice in the same dynasty is amazing
that 2015 season must have been bad
Bama fell out of the top 10 in 2014? They started #2 and lost one game in week 5 to #11. I'm sure they fell out of top 10 at some point in 2010 but I can't think of a time since then they weren't top 10.
Edit: nm looked it up, they fell to #12 after the Oke Miss loss in 2015. So one week out since 2010.
that kid will abuse multiple women before his 20s
Wisconsin & USC too low
ND, Mich, Auburn, and Florida too high
First 6 are pretty good teams, not sure still on Oklahoma but they have the track record. After that it’s a lot of flawed teams.
Virginia, sc and ucf too low imo
Texas over Florida, Nd and Michigan too
2 weeks. This will be a fun trivia question about the dynasty. Shutout ULM the next week and stayed #13 before we beat down #8 UGA in Athens the following week.
There was some serious "The sky is falling, the dynasty is dead" b.s. from the meda.
LSU jumps Oklahoma and Ohio State but not the other SEC teams or Clemson.
UNC and Wake Forest are apparently playing a non-conference game against each other this week. That’s bizarre. I don’t ever remember something like that happening before.
You seem really upset by this
Wait, really? Are they in the same division? #North Carolina Tarheels
#Wake Forest Demon Deacons
we are in the coastal and them atlantic
our permanent cross over opponent is nc state. so we play wake once every 6 or 7 years now
because historically we have always played yearly, both schools decided to schedule as a non con opponent just so it wouldn’t be so long between matchups
conference expansion sucks ass
I think it makes a ton of sense and is awesome, given nothing can be done about conference expansion bc of TV contracts.
I always love how ACC expansion was supposed to result in FSU Miami title games abc its never happened.
I like that. Be cool if we could drop UT off the schedule and just do something like that
It’d be even cooler if we went to 9 conference games
Well yeah but the rest of the conference is being a bitch about that.
It'd be cooler if there were no conferences at all
I’d rather go back to smaller conferences and then play other conferences every year. It would be cool to play a PAC 12 team or Big XII team every now and then. Do 8 conference games, 3 P5 games, and a G5 game. Get rid of the FCS games.
I feel like you’d get a better picture of how conferences really compare that way.
This is pretty wild
This week’s games are just awful. I’m having trouble remembering a week that didn’t feature a single ranked vs ranked game.
ACC = All Canes Conference
I expected FSU to be a lot higher on the list so I started digging.
#North Carolina State Wolfpack are the reason they fell out in 98, ending their recorded streak. That's unfortunate.
The real killer though is that the reason they aren't second only to Miami is a loss to Miami in 94...that knocked them all the way to AP11 for exactly one week. If not for that, their streak runs from 12/1/90(victory over UF bringing them back into top-10 after mid-season losses to ranked Miami and AU teams) to 9/12/98(early season loss to NCSt)...89 games. I'm not sure how many weeks that would encompass but I'm pretty sure they're counting bye and bowl weeks, based on Miami's number, so it would definitely put them second to Miami.
If that isn't a Monday afternoon project, I don't know what is
Trevor Lawrence today on if it surprises him when teams focus on defending run more than pass against Clemson:
“You have to pick one. Pick if you want to die fast or slow.”
Did he just call Etienne slow?
Is there division inside of the Clemson locker room? Some people are saying yes!
