I was starting to get worried about Mike Williams (lol week 1), but losing Hunter should help.
I knew you followed this thread lol. Swiggity swiggity swooty I'm comin for dat booty.
No league should have a dedicated TE roster position, imo. Just a total waste of a roster spot with the talent pool so shallow.
Definitely. If you believe he has special ability or a good upside, ride it out for a while.
I don't know much about Samuel specifically and was just mainly questioning his hype based on what I think is just generally a mediocre-to-poor fantasy environment for WRs in Carolina with Newton. Going back and looking, the last two times Cam played all 16 games (2015 & 2017), Carolina was 29th/24th and 29th/28th in Completions/Yards. I just don't see a lot of upside.
As a Panthers fan it's hard to be excited about anybody in our offense besides CMC. Things feel very stale offensively.
For Curtis Samuel, i think it's all about greg olsen. I would hold Samuel until Olsen gets hurt and then Samuel's targets will rise when that happens
Fucking Henry.... grabbed Delanie Walker after losing out on Hockenson from waivers
Delanie is a great pickup. What's not to like about a TE that was top-5 3 years in a row, takes a year off, and puts up a top-5 line his first game back? If he's healthy you're good.
Something told me to spend a substantial chunk of FAB on Waller yesterday despite having Henry.
Nobody is going to trade a top 2 te for fringe players.
Unless you’re playing with fsuNizz
i hope your whole team gets turf toe
6pt passing tds
I was just offered Jarvis Landry & Kyle Rudolph for Cooper Kupp
My WR's & TE's are:
Vernon Davis (I just dropped H.Henry)
Sutton vs Bears (hate this match up) or Cobb at flex or do I go to the wire and pick up Ginn or Conley
Standard, which side wins?
Evan Engram, Latavius Murray
Tyler Lockett, Aaron Jones
Tyler Lockett didn’t practice today, something to do with his back. Hopefully it’s just a rest day.
Bottom by a big margin
Is Aaron Jones and Robert Woods too much to give up for Davante Adams in ppr?
I thought so too, I offered jones and Josh Gordon and was declined so I’ll just stay put
I think I panicked on a ppr league. Traded devonta freeman and diggs for dk Metcalf aj green and kerryon. Feel like it could’ve been worse but Freeman’s usage and Vikings looking to be a running team has me spooked.
I think that’s perfectly fine. Freeman sucks and will inevitably get hurt, and AJ > Diggs when healthy. Diggs isn’t really healthy right now and AJ is getting close to being back and Kerryon should be solid.
Disagree. This isn't 2003. It's 2019 and we have TE out there playing like WR.
Do you think the same for Kickers?
I have Delanie Walker and Hockenson on one of my rosters. Which do you think scores more this year? Really too early to ask that question but man I like Hockenson's outlook
Ended up trading Christian Kirk for David Njoku. It was just a starting point. I'm happy with it.
Anyone see any movement of Melvin in their leagues? What is he going for?
Yesterday, I traded Melvin and Ertz for Evans and Sony. My team shit the bed week 1 and I needed to shake things up.
Non PPR, pick 2
Calvin Ridley vs Philly
Desean Jackson at Atl
Allen Robinson at Denver
Leaning the Ridley and DJax
Now that’s more like it.
Darnold is out vs Browns with Mono
Would this be worth a shot?
Melvin and Ridley for Antonio and Phillip Linsday? (receiving team has Ekeler) My team is shit, so I'm trying anything.
Damn, could miss several weeks. Just got through setting the lineup to put in Crowder too. They say Trevor Siemian is a checkdown guy though, but I don't remember anything about him at this point.
Robinson will be limited by what Trubisky can do, but his upside is that he is Trubisky’s clear No. 1 target.
Robinson had 13 targets against the Packers and all other Bear WRs had 11 combined.
It seems pretty even, but I would aim a little higher as a starting point given no one knows what’s going to happen with this AB investigation.
Kupp or Gordon this weekend in 0.5 PPR? Gordon makes me nervous, especially with only 3 targets in the last game and Brown starting to eat in too, but the matchup is so enticing.
Also starting Sony and Goff if that matters.
Kupp. He had 6 catches for 89 yards and a TD last year and 8 catches for 116 yards in 2017 against New Orleans. That game will be a shootout too, whereas New England will be up by 45 at halftime against Miami
Kupp, for sure. Should be a back and forth game.
Depends on the rest of your roster. Adams is the far superior player.
Starting all the Patriots I have this week. Brady, J White, and their defense
Need the skins to go trade for Melvin Gordon
I stashed AP, but:
Kupp vs NO or Desean vs Atl?
Picked up Hockenson... should I try and trade him for Ronald Jones and hope he takes over in Tampa? I’ve failed at other bigger offers.
That’s tough... I’d probably go Kupp
Kupp may be a little safer, but Desean has the higher ceiling. Both good options. The Falcons got steamrolled on the ground last week and Cousins only threw ten passes, so that's scary if Philly can just run all night, but if the safeties start playing up there could be some nice Wentz/Desean fireworks. Desean started hot last year too, so I'm probably going to play him until he has a bad game or two.
High risk hopefully high reward. Going to start Hokenson instead of Njuko and DeSean instead of Kupp.
I fucked up could have picked up NE’s D to play against the dolphins.
Would you guys drop Robby Anderson to pick up John Ross in PPR?
