I've always said not all fouls in the box should be penalties. There should be a second spot like 5 yards outside the box for a free kick for "non penalty fouls" but I know that opens up a lot of interpretation. But really PKs shouldn't be called when the ball is going away from goal.
She barely made any contact, she was going down no matter what there. Hate a call like that deciding a game.
Yeah there were a few yellows that should have been given but no idea how you can say that seeing as how the US was given two extremely soft penalties
She has a tattoo on the front of her neck that just says "looks can be deceiving." Generally agree with girls with tattoos are fantastic but that's a dumb one.
with women keepers a well aimed kick is good enough 99% of the time, with athletic freaks like courtois it is not
big difference for the men is the keepers can cover post to post. for the women if they place it in the corner, it's a goal.
These last 2 games will not beat France. Spain didn't deserve to win this but they still have to feel like crap to lose to 2 PKs.
The only consistent Euro complaint I like more is the terrifying England > Moscow flight for a European midweek clash clocking in at a legs-destroying
Watch out before Sub-Zero calls you out for being too uncool for his party. That was maybe the softest penalty I’ve ever seen awarded that wasn’t a pure dive.
