I imagine they try to tie Sunflower into it somehow since that's the big song out right now.
I want to see him do a guitar solo
Saying RHCP are bad is prime tmb edginess
Not even I have very many bad things to say about them
This won best best rock song
She's cool (and from Tulsa), but idk about assigning the rock label to St. Vincent
St. Vincent puts on a pretty great live show, highly recommend seeing her if you’re at all into her music.
I unabashedly love the Grammys. Spectacle is fun.
name the last good album they put out
they fucking suck now
It's like a mix of Supermassive Blackhole by Muse and Lady Gaga
They've definitely drifted into the sort of territory where their music gets played in Starbucks. Oh well, I like their first few albums.
Is it lame to say By The Way? Because i still like By The Way
oh i do too like the first 3 or 4 but they’re awful now
they’ll perform whatever trash they’re purring our now though
nah but that was 17 years ago. should have stopped then
Luka who is your girl this year
you strike me as a cardi b kind of guy
think he loves miley
Dump always goes for pale, rail thin white girls. Is there a new one of those this year
she is america's sweetheart after all
Grammy makes folks so mad. It’s a celebration of popular music. I don’t listen to a bunch of it, but I enjoy the show usually
Not dump but I love me some Bebe Rexha.
Same. I have no clue who half these performers are but it’s enjoyable as a one-off
Also Brandi Carlile >
That was a hell of an open.
are there any big nominees who died in the past year? that's always a pretty good bet to win. chris cornell already won
that’s actually not true when it comes to hip hop/rap and that’s why gambino, kendrick, and drake told them to get fucked.
I'd like to see more variety on the actual broadcast, both in terms of awards and who performs. There's a million different categories but it's mostly top 40 pop and hip-hop that makes it on TV.
Eh, they don't like that the academy is almost exclusively white.
She’s quickly become my second fav B Carlile.
they don’t feel as if they’re represented well at all, and that’s arguably the most popular genre of music at the moment
Well I don’t understand how it’s a not a celebration of popular music. I’ve seen Drake and Gambino names mentioned a ton already.
On the one they're probably right, but on the other the Grammys broadcast is basically just an extended commercial for the recording industry so
that’s their point. they’re the only ones mentioned and they don’t feel as if they’re represented enough as the biggest genre in the world. christina aguilera is nominated in a hip hop category iirc
Plus some years ago I looked into how the nomination process works because I was trying to figure out how bands like Slayer and Megadeth got nominated every year when they hadn't put out a good album in 20, and basically once you reach a certain level of popularity you're almost guaranteed to get nominated based on name recognition alone when you release a new album.
Lol did Janelle just have vagina dresses on TV
Janelle Monae is so damn beautiful
True story a while back I accidentally told Alexa to play Belinda Carlisle. Then I decided not to correct my mistake
Who just performed?
She's so damn good.
So hot it’s crazy
Gambino getting song and now Posty showing off. I am happy.
wtx this Posty-RHCP collab fucking slaps!
that post/rhcp collab definitely didn't slap
Dolly would still get it.
Miley when she actually sings.
Beck must have like 72 grammy's
flea was slapping like crazy
She's probably the only woman I can say that about that is 3 years past her golden wedding anniversary.
She also owns one helluva them park down there in Pigeon Forge
HER was the best performance so far, in my opinion. Best guitar playing so far, for sure.
I honestly was not familiar with her for some reason, and she killed it.
