Anyone finding a good deal on tickets? Haven't done much looking but last I checked $100 was about the lowest price I saw.
Already got tickets, but a friend said he was able to get upper level tickets on stubhub for 10% above face value
There've been more agonizing Chiefs losses, but damnit it's frustrating that they scored under 20 and we couldn't come up with a way to get it done
Time for the Chiefs to take a quarterback and let him sit for a year I think. You hate to do it when the team does have other needs and Alex Smith isn't terrible, but this is as far as they're going to go with him.
I'm not saying it was, the offense is just limited by him. He played fine within the scheme of the offense. But you have guys like Maclin and Hill and he just can't make the throws to take advantage of them.
wat Russell Wilson can make any throw on the field and has a career average of 8 YPA. He's averaged like 4 more touchdowns than Smith has ever had in his career, on top of being a better rusher. The only similarities between them is that they're both mobile quarterbacks who don't turn it over a lot.
That's a, uh, weird comparison. I'm not sure there's a QB in the league right now doing more with less than RW. Cheapest OL in the league by far protecting him, injuries everywhere at RB (main RB is an UDFA), and a receiving corps where the two best WR are also UDFA.
Found this on the Chiefs subreddit, cool photo from last night Article from Sam Mellinger about the Chiefs going forward with Alex Smith - http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/sam-mellinger/article126850509.html
Interesting. Certainly didn't expect any other Chiefs news before finding out about Poe and Berry. Kudos to the French Doctor, though.
I don't think franchising Poe is the right move. Transition tag him at most so they can gauge his market.
I think I'd rather see him recover and have one or two more solid seasons. I like him enough as a person that it extends beyond my Chief fanhood
It'll be interesting to see if CJ can beat out West for those snaps. Ware is clearly the lead back. Reid does a pretty great job of working guys in space which is Spillers strength. I am optimistic for obvious reasons.
If Watson or Mahomes are still around in the early 20's I hope we trade up for one of them. Otherwise if Dalvin is there we take him. If not we take a CB. Really going out on a limb, I know.
We will take a late Rd 2/ borderline 3rd round grade DL in the 1st, get berated by all media and fans, then pick up a talented but questionable character kids in the 2nd and 3rd who will become all pros and the DL will get hurt and play 6 games and be cut next off-season.
