copy the White Sox Aces program into 50+ cities, it’s been producing lots of talent recently
Link to something on it?
Just look into Curtis Granderson and what he's done in the community
So you condone a form of discrimination continuing to exist? Interesting
You're inventing this idea that the rule disproportionately affects black people or target black people. It doesn't. It affects whites as much or more.
it’s such an obvious program to repeat, it’s fairly cheap, should be mandatory that every team have three cities they have programs in
For example White Sox: Chicago, Fort Wayne, Louisville
Indians: Cleveland, Akron, Huntington
The Yankees' facial hair rule is pretty fucking stupid. Thanks for listening.
Read this In WSJ this morning. Also there were references to the Nationals as well. Looking them up now. This guy is in San Diego.

Dude, this logic is real bad.
White people can’t be discriminated against?!
he literally used a racial slur last august (which he clearly uses regularly in conversation with friends considering how autocorrect works). he’s still a racist pos he just is better with his performative wokeness now to counter it
Are you new here?
How so? It was literally put in place bc several white guys had long hair.
happy bobby bonilla day fellas! refreshing to see a baseball player actually getting paid right now.
Didn't he just wear out one HOF'er? Maybe Maddux? Want to say he hit .400 off of him or something just stupid like that.
yeah it was maddux
If a pitcher can change speeds, every hitter is helpless, limited by human vision.
“Except,” Maddux said, “for that [expletive] Tony Gwynn.”
This has to be the most overrated play in sports history right?
Whatever do you mean?
Catch standing in fair territory 20 feet away from the stands lol
pokey reeses superior catch from the very same game
key word being standing, which every other SS in the league would have been doing when they caught that pop up
Dbl played college ball
Where? Just curious.
Vanderbilt, he was in the rotation.
I stand by what I said
Sure, but those other SS may have been weighed down by facial hair and looked less classy.
We need to all pitch in and get the Emma portrait on one of these
Being hated by players, owners, and fans equally is quite the feat
I'm down for an Emma seat. Just do it and I'll send you the money.
I forget which stadium it was, but you can pay $125 and if a foul ball hits your cutout they mail you the ball
That’s awesome: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sf...g-fan-cutouts-in-Coliseum-with-a-15377503.php
Nuttings too cheap to give away baseballs but I would 100% do that. The thrill of checking the mailbox every day for a baseball would be electric
SIAP, but fucking lol Manfred
Gamble with your life at Comerica Park in 2020
Cooperstown will forever be a hall of shame until Buck is inducted. Absolute legend, absolute class. Cooperstown did their Negroes league induction and accepted 16 players, Buck didn’t make the cut and was told he’d never be in the HoF. Heartbroken he took the stage to give this speech, to recognize his former teammates. Like he did his whole life, Buck nailed it. Unfortunately I was never lucky enough to meet Buck, but I have been fortunate enough to meet Mr Bob Kendrick many times. You can’t leave a conversation with him without a beating heart, a smile on your face, and a tear in your eye. I’m sure Buck looks down and flashes that incredible smile every time Mr Kendrick tells a story about himself, or Satch, or Jackie, or Cool Papa Bell, or Gibson.
Just a beautiful human
Mr Kendrick says it better than I ever could
Each spring we watch Ken Burns baseball, all 18+ hours, and there is always 2 minutes that will forever bring tears to my eyes
Was just watching videos of him earlier this week. Such a joy just to listen to him tell stories. I don’t even know how good of a player he was but he should be in the HOF just for his stories. His story of hearing Ruth, Gibson, and then Bo taking BP is great. I could listen to his stories for hours.
If you ever visit KC and don’t spend an evening with Mr Kendrick, you’ve failed
This seems like a breach of the cba’s requirement to negotiate in good faith.
Does Roberto Ramos still belong to the Rockies? It’s a weird case because he’s like 25, now that they need a DH could he leave Korea if they offer a contract or is he locked in there for the year?
I thought this was a Jumbotron
