JeremyLambsFace was asking the question. So yea, it is obvious now that I know he OV'd last weekend.
Also add in that a lot of programs thought the ESD wasn't going to be as big as it was last year. So they geared up for NSD instead. Now they are gunning and going all out to get kids signed early.
Yes I was referring to him asking the question
Actually a pretty small amount of changes. Last year saw new head coaches at Florida, Florida state, TAMU Oregon and Tennessee and Bama flipped more than half their staff. This year we have Ohio state transitioning to a guy already on staff and some coordinator changes.
I don’t think we get any of them tbh
I don't follow it that closely, but aren't these coordinators most likely to be the primary recruiters? If so, there's likely to be shakeups at bama, auburn, georgia, fsu, osu, usc, oklahoma, and others weeks ahead of the main signing day
USC gutted their staff too
Your 247 board looks prime for a meltdown if you don’t
We’re telling kids if they’re committed and don’t sign on ESD, they aren’t guaranteed a spot on NSD. Going to be a lot of moving pieces for sure.
Fair enough. Still much less than last year.
Yup, same here. We are also telling some kids they can't sign on NSD.
No I agree, was just adding that in there
Smug about recruiting again. I am liking this.
Remember when Muschamp was going to sign Nelson Agholor and Stefon Diggs and we totally had them in he bag......and then our WR class that year consisted of a single player by the name of Raph Andrades? Well, let’s just say that brake pumping is typically a wise idea when Muschamp is involved.
I’m not smug overall, but i am smug about the 2-3 recruits we are talking about in this conversation
Especially being familiar with muschamp “closing”
Still cant see Steele coming east.
Is Hopper any good? I know nothing about him. Dont think any of the big schools were in on him.
His JR film was pretty good, no idea how his SR year went
Apparently we’re taking 8 more. Can’t wait to see how that plays out.
YOU GET A GREY SHIRT! YOU GET A GREY SHIRT! AND YOU GET A GREY SHIRT!
Can he fog a mirror? If so we'll take him
I'll be honest. I get a little jealous every time I see these 3 star OLs getting offers out of nowhere. Feels like we should just be getting bodies in, no matter what kind
We just offered the same guy like 3 days ago
He has an FSU offer *allegedly
We going HTH for like 8 3* OL and the Butler kid, feels just like the good old days
How can you be primed for a meltdown when you're already mid-meltdown over Deebo skipping the bowl.
some rumblings that we may have pulled his offer
will know for sure around early signing day
Telfort visiting fsu i see lol
When he started his HS career in SC he was on some early prospect lists as a big corner.
Think he got good camp reviews too because of that background.
Jimbo out here losing recruits to UCF?
Borderline 4 star kid. Don't see what the issue is here
Yeah pendley plays like he hates people, fan of
As someone that has been through this before, don't do this to yourself....
Please refrain from sharing my social media posts thank you you will be receiving a letter from my attorneys thank you
Tim Watts says Clemson out of it for Clay Webb. Sounds good for Georgia from his post.
"According to two sources close to the Clemson program Webb cancelled his in-home visit with Dabo Swinney, which would eliminate Clemson. Auburn sources say Malzahn is supposed to go in-home this week, but not sure when. We are keeping an ear to the ground to see if or when that takes place.
This is likely what we thought all along -- Alabama-Georgia battle. As I've maintained for a while now, I think there is too much confusion to make a call. Georgia has been a legitimate threat since this summer and Alabama has been there since Day 1. As of this morning sources close to the UGA program feel "good" about their chances and where they stand. On the Alabama end, sources feel that the home team is very much in it. But one thing for certain is nobody seems to know for sure.
Webb is set to announce on Monday, so there could be tidbits that leak out here and there. We will pass them along as we get them".
Our bloggers appear to have conceded on Webb as well.
Our sites have always said it was either Bama or Georgia; that Clemson was never a serious factor. Would have thought by now there would be confidence coming from the Bama sites, but just hard to buy that Pittman can get an elite OL out of that state that Saban wants.
I feel like Bama gets Dean and Georgia gets Webb
Ferman and Shodell of Canesport saying they are hearing Miami now leads for Howell so congrats to our Tar Heel posters for the solid QB pickup.
Looks like we yanked Webb's offer
I would take this 10/10 times. Especially given how good our OL class already is.
Congrats on the flip UGA
Andrew Bone is getting really triggered about the negative recruiting with Darnell Wright.
How so? His coach is a Vol.
And I’ve got this pie in the sky idea that he OV’s on last weekend before ESD and signs for Lord Samuel Pittman.
