No longer last in the power rankings
I wish we could play Tennessee and Vandy just to end the debate of who is the worst once and for all
Caught that international flight late yesterday, he gone.
I’m sure we need to be in this cripple fight also.
Right, but we already play you in a couple weeks.
Who’s going to replace Moorhead?
Tennessee and Vandy will play. Do you not understand how divisions work
Do you understand how to read?
I’d take a monkey pointing at pictures of plays to run at this point.
I think this is the correct takeaway from the game. Pretty much every team other than Bama has an inexplicable performance once per season. The problem we have is that I don’t think this was just a “came out flat” game. It’s a game that was the direct result of poor coaching and preparation up to this point.
I’m not sure that’s really fixable mid-season.
He's hiding on the Dawg private board, but from an international location of course.
He should be banned. Talk all that shit and spew bullshit constantly like he's mentally challenged and then hide like a baby when UGA UGA's.
The ole kbw playbook
That playbook was a team effort. Equal contributions from Kyle, dmx, and trop
yea lmao ummm Kyle, we haven’t seen you in years bud
You've seen me daily the entire time hanging out on our board. I had to take some time off from carrying this place and didn't want to seem like a bad winner during the championships so I kept away for a while. I also was throttled and that was only recently fixed. Waste of air Euro makes even terrible DMX seem like a tremendous poster
Going to have to stop you there, man. Dmx and his butt buddy trop have contributed nothing but pure dogshit to this board since the day they signed up. The best is trop trying to be sincere on the donor board and it still being glaringly obvious that he’s one of the dumber people on this planet
Miss State on CBS? Ewww
Game might be 100-0
Isn’t every team suppose to be on CBS once a season?
Kirby is 5-3 in his last 8 games
By halftime. Can’t wait for us to have another blowout on national tv.
The starts of Richt & Smart at Georgia continue to amaze:
2002: 13-1 (SEC #1)
2003: 11-3 (SEC #2)
2017: 13-2 (SEC #1)
2018: 11-3 (SEC #2)
Noon game against Muschamp coming off b2b marquee matchups, what could go wrong
A close loss to Bama in the SECCG and a Sugar Bowl we didn’t want to play in has to factor in to this stat.
With that said nothing justifies that bed-wetting yesterday.
So UGA it hurts
I mean, we started off 5-0 for three consecutive seasons 2017-19. You can spin the stats multiple ways but I don’t think either stat tells you that much in this case.
The stat that’s going to really matter is what happens between now and Thanksgiving. In terms of Kirby’s record. I would argue it isn’t a trend yet but I think it likely will be soon.
LSU up to No. 2 in the AP poll.
I think we are at an inflection point in Kirby’s tenure. We clearly aren’t good enough to compete for a championship this season but we are still good enough to win the East. I wouldn’t pick us to do it today but my sense is Kirby really needs to win ten games and go back to Atlanta this season to avoid what could be a longer slide and perhaps a turn in the longer-term trajectory of his program.
I do think it’s more likely than not that Fromm is back at this point. But we lose a lot next year regardless.
That LSU line...anybody care to spot me a loan? Like $50k or so?
That Florida line is interesting. SCU is not untalented on defense or at the offensive skill positions but will Hillinksi even play?
Have you seen LSU’s D?
100-35 more likely.
It must be nice to have a place to hide. I’m without a home, like a rolling stone.
I know Shakedown talks a lot of shit, but at least he shows up and takes the heat after a loss
I know it seems short but it is a Trap game on the road sandwiched between UF and AU next week
I was wrong or certainly appear to be wrong about our offense. I wanted to believe a certain set of facts that are now very hard to believe - namely that our OL and running game were so good that they could not be stopped by anyone on our regular season schedule and any deficiencies in the passing game wouldn’t matter that much for a while.
SCU took away our running game with a physical front and was able to play man coverage on the outside while keeping a safety constantly involved against the run. They did it all night and we could not make them pay for it. That’s pretty alarming from both a schematic standpoint and a receiver talent standpoint.
I can at least respect Shakedown for never disappearing. Euro disappears literally every single loss and for extended periods
I said this same thing last year, in the SCar vs UGA thread and Jake Scott wasn’t having it
Let’s be real here for a second - Kirby was better quicker than anyone expected him to be. He took a team with less talent than Alabama and had the Natty won. Take away a bad offsides penalty and he wins it in regulation. Richt started off very hot at Georgia and Kirby did the same.
Where things go from here is anyone’s guess but in terms of program-building, philosophy, etc., Richt and Kirby are polar opposites. The numbers above only tell me that both Richt and Kirby started off very strong. Richt probably had the best team in America in 2002.
They say nothing about the future from here and it’s a complete logical fallacy to suggest otherwise.
Also said Kinlaw had an outside shot at being All-SEC last year and Jake wasn’t having that either, but that big asshole waited until this year to start showing out.
The Richt/Kirby comparisons don’t bother me, yet. Richt was fantastic for his first 5 years, and then the game slowly passed him. Hope Kirby can avoid the second part, but admittedly, this year doesn’t make me particularly confident.
