Pretty low risk. Is the expectation that’s he’s loaned out or that he will be a part of the squad next season?
rumor a couple of months ago was that he'd go to Spurs and they'd loan him back, which would be the best we could hope for
Pretty shitty if he strong arms his boyhood club. The decent thing would be to sign a contract with the release clause so Fulham gets fair market value.
Multiple Chelsea sources say pounds when you include the add ons. Doesn’t really matter since he’s unlikely to hit all of them but that sterling valuation isn’t coming from nowhere. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48548361 https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...e-transfer-fee-worth-up-to-130m-a4161291.html
To be fair, the birthday of our second best Real Madrid poster also overshadows the WWC. Happy Birthday nexus
I can’t remember a better teenage defender with the upside and the likelihood to reach that upside than him.
De Ligt's composure, skill, and ability to score goals is pretty unmatched. Can he improve enough defensively to get in the Cannavaro, Vidic, Ramos, recent VVD class.
And he’s about to turn 20.....he had a couple youthful mistakes in the nations cup but overall he was very impressive He’s gonna be worth the price tag without a doubt
Llorente absolutely abused him in the second leg but not sure how many Giroud/Llorentes will be around in the coming years.
That’s a pretty unfair point of evaluation considering that he was being run ragged that entire game...and then had minimal defensive support against a fresh target man like Llorente
Netherlands is an attacker or 2 away from having the best core in Europe. Many countries have more overall talent and way more depth but their best is up there. Best CB pair you can imagine, De Jong, Depay(not elite but difference maker). Need a few more.
Depay looked pretty off this week, not sure if it was the transfer rumors or what, but he couldn’t get his touch together The physical talent is pretty undeniable though Bergwijn, Dilrosun, and Promes are all stud wingers of the future
I hate Ramos but he has probably the best resume of any defender of my lifetime. Puyol/Pique raised that with their incredible play for Spain when he wasn't nearly as good as he was for the Real 4 in 5 CL run.
Puyol is easily better than Ramos. Pique sucked ass beyond belief last year. Pulled his shit together this year. I have no problem placing Ramos above pique. Puyol was the heart and soul of Barcelona and Spain in the golden years for both.
