Yeah there’s a couple. Christian Falk of Bild used to break everything and it pissed off the board so they ran some subterfuge and found out James was the mole. After that, James didn’t play for a while and nothing leaked. It’s starting to trickle out again, right in time for the window.

In Arsenal’s defense, he was hot garbage during the beginning of his loan at Hoffenheim and was well on his way to free agency when he flipped a talent switch. He’s been getting better every game since.
Barça were linked with Werner a while back and I was all in on him. A couple of my buddies who are Bundesliga fanatics aren’t very high on him though. They say that Jovic is the player everybody thinks Werner is. Regardless, Barça need a striker this summer so we’ll see.

Yep. He apparently had a player option in his HSV deal that would allow him out of it to come to Bayern either this summer or next and he opted out now. I know he’s played very little for them this year.
Where do people think bale ends up? I can’t see anyone besides united and maybe PSG going after him. Just not worth the total cost for a player who is injury prone and on the decline.

I could see him wanting to go back to Tottenham but I don’t think they’ll break the wage structure for him and I don’t think he will take the wage cut necessary to make that a reality. United just makes too much sense although the Sanchez deal backfiring like it did should certainly give them pause.

Not what it was but Kane is on £200k/wk or so? 1-2 other key guys over £100k, a few at £100k and the rest under that? Still significantly less than the top players at the other big 6 clubs. Even if bale took a big pay decrease to £200k or £250k a week, it could have a big impact on future negotiations with the top players at the club. We are starting to see that with united stars wanting parity with Alexis Sanchez and his mammoth salary. I think the players are comfortable with Kane being above because of what he’s done. I don’t know if bale will Get that same respect.

A lot of that was due to the fact that for 10 years Levy's been trying to get a billion dollar stadium built, but over the past year you've seen the old 65k wage structure smashed pretty much all the first teamers are making more than that. Even Lamela is getting 100k now. Salaries are also affected by their previous salaries and Aurier Sissoko and Moura (our last signings ever) make significantly more on their first contract than previous Spurs players. I don't think they'll ever go United partly for the reasons you mention but also because they'll never match income. Eventually getting to the point to be able to pay players as much as Arsenal is realistic though. In summary. Spurs don't have a strict wage structure like in years prior, but they're definitely not paying Bale money.

So do people think Real Madrid want Pogba or Ericksen? I think they would be wise to get ericksen. I think him and hazard would be incredible together. Pogba May have more potential but ericksen is a player I would feel a lot more comfortable depending on. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Seems like they are likely the first domino that decides the summer for a few teams. Will also be interesting to see where jovic and Nicole pepe end up. Seems like there will be bidding wars for both.
