Sky sports facebook has a live stream of their Transfer Deadline show. I am at my desk at work for the next hour and have it playing in the background https://www.facebook.com/SkySports/...fL-UrVxV7ERUqTTKhn8WKAVqeDztKez1rJE_k_x3MALlU
If a club submits a deal sheet before the deadline then they get some extra time to complete all the paperwork.
Looks like Wolves are finalizing a deal for Meritan Shabani. Top-5 prospect in the Bayern junior system imo. He’s got BL experience and has at least one league goal in very limited minutes. Will be joining the Wolves U-23 squad.
Grade your club's transfer window. Manchester United: C- In: Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James Out: Romelu Lukaku, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia Maguire and AWB were big needs to strengthen the back line after an appalling season defensively. However, there are now 7 CB's on the roster and it remains to be seen if any will get sold. Daniel James looks like a good player with frightening pace but will probably need some time to adjust to the league. He can play on the right but prefers the left, which means United still don't have a pure right-sided attacking player on the team. United lost a midfielder and a striker without replacing either of them. They will rely on still unproven players like Fred and Pereira to step up in midfield. There will also be a big weight put on the shoulders of 17 year old Mason Greenwood to become a reliable back-up striker.
City B+ or A- In Cancelo, Rodri, Angelino and Carson Out Danilo, Delph, Kompany, Muric, Luiz Losing Kompany will have more an off field impact at this point and we didnt sign a replacement. However cover for Fernandinho was #1 priority and I think Rodri is a great choice. Kyle Walker showed signs of struggling last year and Cancelo should be great in Pep system. Cant believe they made money on Danilo so that was a good bit of business. Getting Angelino was also great business, and provides depth at LB where Mendy always seems to be injured. Overall I really like the window. Think maybe could have used another CB, but Walker may play there some now as well in cover. Also didnt lose the likes of Sane (although now injured), Jesus, Gundogan and a couple other names who popped up in rumors this summer. The team is already in great shape and I think the couple additions could help improve the side or at least attempt to maintain the run they have been on.
Bayern: D (Will be F- if no one else is signed) In: Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard Out: Mats Hummels, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Rafinha, James Rodriguez
Spurs B/B+ In Clarke (loaned back), Sessegnon, Lo Celso, Ndombele Out Trippier, Janssen, Onomah Bigly upgraded our midfield. This assumes Eriksen stays. If he does go later, then we'll have replaced a key playmaker with a less talented, less consistent, still strong potential creative midfielder in GLC. We simply dropped the ball on RB, with our entire core consisting of oft-injure Aurier, young Walker-Peters, and convert but currently injured Foyth. At the same time, there aren't a whole lot of viable right fullback options on the market.
There were 6 deal sheets submitted before the deadline FYI. Looks like Iwobi to Everton, Luiz to Arsenal, and Lo Celso and Sessengon to Spurs were 4 of them. Southampton reportedly is one of the other two.
#Borussia Dortmund B+ Added: Schultz, T. Hazard, Hummels, Brandt, Morey Lost: Diallo, Pulisic, likely Toprak soon Quite happy with the players brought in. CB depth is still a concern with Diallo gone. Good attacking depth with Gotze, Reus, Sancho, and Alcacer. Should contend again for the league. Maybe make it to quarters of UCL.
I would have gotten slaughtered for that. The poster is probably my biggest bully as well. I was done with Drinkwater puns by the time It was obvious Leicester would win the title. Just gross behavior.
Cleaned out our closet and landed Pulisic and Kovacic. I'd give it a C on regular standards an A with their being a transfer ban. Please respect my decision and no interviews please
I give Arsenal a B+. only thing holding me back from an A is I'm not sure the defense will be any better than last season. addressed needs at winger, midfield and LB and was able to do so with an eye toward the future. In: Pepe Tierney Luiz Martinelli Ceballos (loan) Saliba (loaned out) Out: Koscielny Bielik Ospina Iwobi Jenkinson Asano
