so am i understanding that brooklyn gave up 3 1sts and 4 pick swaps? and cleveland gave another 1st? i really like cleveland pairing sexland with allen. if it only cost them milwaukee's non-lottery 1st, that's a steal
Fair enough. None of these guys are absolutely washed at the end of their career like last time. now, Harden and Kyrie in the same locker room, whew. but having the very best players is a prerequisite to making it deep in the playoffs, generally.
I don't get this for Brooklyn. Poor Steve Nash. This is amazing for Houston, right up until the part where they traded Caris for Oladipo for reasons I can not comprehend. What the hell? Not entirely sure what Cleveland is doing. I think Allen for a likely late 1 is decent value, but unless they're moving Drummond that's a weird value play there. Indiana seems like it made out best in this deal, and it doesn't seem like it was even part of it until after it happened.
Nets came out big losers in this deal. Seems like desperation to me. No way in hell Kyrie and Harden are going to be able to co-exist.
Yes, but why wouldn't they prefer LeVert for 2 more years at well below the max (other than the owner being cheap)? I'd much rather have LeVert than the cap space.
Jokes on you fella. Cowboy fertitta is doing just fine! https://www.papercitymag.com/culture/tilman-fertitta-super-yacht-houston-billionaire-waters/
I think it's a good deal for all involved, for the most part, but feel like the Nets are the clear losers here unless tehy somehow pull off some wizardry and get Kyrie and Harden to co-exist together well.
