We may start slow on a short offseason but by the playoffs I think we will be much improved and hot going in.
People sleeping on the Pacers as per usual. They should have a dramatically better offense this year. If Oladipo can be at 90%+ of what he was pre-injury, they’ll have a better record than a couple of those teams with perceived better talent.
Hard to count out a nick nurse team with Lowry and VV still on it. Philly still probably needs another pg move to effectively run the halfcourt.
If healthy (obviously huge if) Derrick Rose to Philly sometime between now and the deadline makes a lot of sense.
I can respect shameless optimism in the offseason. Like that's what's fun about it. But I will thoroughly enjoy it when Atlanta is in the bottom half of the East halfway through the season
Ben has all the capacity and physical tools to run point in the league. He’s never operated in a true half court offense. Neither has Joel. They do need a competent backup though. Very much looking forward to what Doc has them do.
Oh bless you... Bulls are not a good basketball team. If somehow Billy gets them within sniffing distance of the playoffs it would be a major accomplishment.
I hope to see improvement and considering they had the worst coach of all time at the helm last year it’s likely to happen. The defense is really bad. But White is gonna be fun to watch improve and grow. Hopefully they fix Lauri
ESPN.com has a 21 mock draft up. Not sure if it's a great draft or if every draft looks great compared to the one we just had. Seems like Cunningham, Boston and Green blow away everyone from this recent class, though.
Format is awful to c/p. These are some free ones from earlier this week at other sites. https://www.sbnation.com/2020/11/19...-2021-cade-cunningham-jalen-green-evan-mobley https://www.yahoo.com/now/2021-nba-...deepest-class-in-recent-memory-021130874.html
Wouldn’t surprise me if several guys outside the 21 lottery are better than the top five of the 20 draft
Someone is going to offer him $100 million if they don’t extend him, based on what Joe Harris and Bertans got.
Miami going year to year with these deals, and then signing Bam now to take away half the space those contracts would create, is odd to me unless he straight up told them he didn't want to wait. If Giannis signs his extension before the season, I predict either Miami or Dallas will trade for Blake at the deadline (if he's healthy and playing anywhere close to previous Blake levels).
There's legitimate shades of QAnon in how Heat fans are tracking the Giannis free agency, with Pat Riley assuming the role of Donald Trump
The Bucks are going to trade Giannis to Detroit. We’re going to waive and stretch him because that’s what we do
Hornets will find a way to pay him significantly more than the super max then waive and stretch Gordon Hayward.
