Man, what a long con. Sitting on his mod powers for 4.5 years to finally thread bad a meaningless Iowa poster.
Really sucks for Journey Brown. Comes from a really rough background. Is reportedly a great kid. Hope he’s able to play after this.
I believe it opened as a Minnesota -1.5 and moved. Depends on the oddsmaker probably, but yes, Minnesota was favored.
Definitely sounds like we will be missing some players for the game (not sure about any positive tests, but sounds like at least a couple), but doesn't sound like it would be enough to put the game in jeopardy. But the staff is keeping a real tight lid on it.
Fleck not putting out a depth chart or injury report is petty gamesmanship and shows a real lack of class, IMO.
I honestly have no idea what this is referencing. I saw this today: But if we are too, I’m not aware.
Not to steal the thunder of other posters that brought it to our board's attention but we just had rumors that there have been double digit plus positive tests in the Minny program recently.
I have no idea if that is the case. What is the number or percentage that requires pausing team activities?
I think a 5% rolling weekly testing average, but the denominator is the whole program (coaches, trainers, etc)
I think it was 7.5%, but there wasn't a consensus on if that was just 105 roster or if that included like all the support staff, coaches etc. Fleck was dodgey in some comments today about guys potentially being out. Edit 'The Big Ten Conference will use data provided by each Chief Infection Officer (CInO) to make decisions about the continuation of practice and competition, as determined by team positivity rate and population positivity rate, based on a seven-day rolling average: Team positivity rate (number of positive tests divided by total number of tests administered): Green 0-2% Orange 2-5% Red >5% Population positivity rate (number of positive individuals divided by total population at risk): Green 0-3.5% Orange 3.5-7.5% Red >7.5% Decisions to alter or halt practice and competition will be based on the following scenarios: Green/Green and Green/Orange: Team continues with normal practice and competition. Orange/Orange and Orange/Red: Team must proceed with caution and enhance COVID-19 prevention (alter practice and meeting schedule, consider viability of continuing with scheduled competition). Red/Red: Team must stop regular practice and competition for a minimum of seven days and reassess metrics until improved.'
That is the way Fleck always is about injuries, discipline, etc. 2 years ago there was a pre-bowl rumor half the defense was out for a post Axe victory party. It ended up being 1 starter but he gave a similar type of answer instead of being direct. He still hasn’t told us a would-be starting LB tore his ACL (allegedly) in the spring. As you know with Harbaugh, football coaches love to believe they get an advantage by not being forthcoming with information.
Fair enough, for our take the Fleck comments were ancillary to other info that was posted on our board about positive tests in the program. But if you haven't heard anything then no worries.
It may be real. I have so much other shit going on right now I hadn’t been on our boards much recently but no threads stuck out when I looked.
Thanks. Currently dealing with our 5th hospital stay in his 3.5 months so just trying to keep our heads above water.
My dad died while Mrs. Celemo was pregnant with Meatball. It breaks my heart to this day because my dad would’ve loved him so much
I understand completely. That was my greatest fear when my dad’s health rapidly declined this spring.
Your favorite relative-of-a-B1G player, me, just learned that my nephew is in fact dressing and was told to "be ready to be out there" on Saturday. Seeing as though he's a true freshman and IU's base D typically only plays with 2 true LBs I'm sure it'd just be special teams action if he sees any at all but now you all have a non-pedophilia related reason to cheer against Penn State so you're welcome.
I fucking hate Mandel. He has the answers to everything, he awkwardly tries to be witty and funny and it doesn’t work because he’s a dork. He should take notes from his partner Bruce Feldman, total pro. Chop!
Before Pelican posts this and asks us to translate, I just want to let everyone know that we have no idea what this means
Lol #Penn State Nittany Lions dont understand Serpent DNA 101....hahahahahahahaha they taught that shit in elementary school, dumbasses
