Coaches released in about 15 minutes
2. Ohio State
7. Penn State
10. Notre Dame
Sponsored by Amway so you know it's good
Instead of the typical yearly thread on which top-10 team becomes the first to lose two games, this year we are guessing the first to play two games.
Also, it sucks that the Ohio State-Oregon game was Covid cancelled.
well on the bright side, when everything inevitably gets shut down there's a good chance UNC will have actually finished ranked after starting the season in the polls for the first time since Mack 1.0
Insert Auburn & Florida
LSU being #5 really is amazing
Bama over Auburn since UGA is early and they'll at least have LSU.
Basically any SEC team an none from the other conferences
Yeah, it’s not like LSU lost anyone to the draft this year or anything like that.
Or all their good coaches & god like QB.
But hey, I'm sure they'll rebound and be top 5....coaches are meat headed idiots. The best thing the CFP does is ignore rankings until week 8 or whatever.
Auburn could potentially have 50% of their schedule vs top 13 teams. 40% vs top 8
Iowa State ranked? I know the QB is supposed to be good but that was not a good team at all last year.
Lol holy shit, Auburn’s board is twice the size of ND’s? That’s outrageously large.
It just means more
wow two ACC teams in the top 10.
Bama too high
Where should they be ranked?
Bama too low
Not in the top 10. Your entire team got drafted and lost every coordinator.
I mean I’m not expecting a season but this is the best roster we’ve had under Franklin, with or without Parsons. Gonna be sad when the season gets cancelled after week 2
-Ensminger called 75% of the offense last year. I'm not ignoring the fact that Joe Brady called the redzone offense. But, CEO has been a pretty transparent HC while at LSU. I don't think he's pulling a much of smoke and mirrors as far as his trust in Ensminger/Linehan/Callaway goes.
-Return the Biletnikoff Award winner as well as 8 starters
Before COVID, most folks looked at this LSU schedule and saw the bottom floor being 9-3. I really can't get that upset over a coaches poll that will evidently mean nothing since college football is currently a clusterfuck. I mean for the first month the entire top 10 will be Big 12 teams.
It's very annoying we don't get to play again.
Yeah, you will not lose a step with Brady gone
Hey, they have eight whole starters coming back, guy.
I think all of the offenses across the board are going to have issues with this conference only play.
Also, I find it interesting that you aren't getting up in arms over the fact that UGA is once again ranked in the top 4.
What is ND’s schedule? ACC teams?
They probably have more coming back and what is assumed to be the best transfer QB.
I'm very hesitant about how well he'll due and Kirby's ability to use him right, but he's at least something
2018 - Ensminger with Burrow
2019 - Ensminger/Brady with Burrow
not to mention they e had Sean White level qb play for like 13 years
I don't know if we should be #4 or not, but we should be very nice on defense.
But new OC, new OL coach, lost two first round OT's, new QB(s), no spring practice, etc. I am very concerned with the offense.
As far as Kirby using Newman right, I don't think that's the issue. I think the issue is whether or not Kirby will leave Monken/Luke/Buster alone with the offense. If he doesn't now after the disaster that was James Coley, he will 100% be Will Muschamp 2.0.
Granted he was playing with little talent but Newman looked like shit last year in person. Couldn’t do anything
He actually has 3 beast WRs. I'm sure the OL didn't help him against some teams
Newman ain't shit
at wake he had zero beast wr left by the time he played Clemson. He looked terrible
you ain't shit
I'm not going to argue whether he was good or not at WF, but we didn't really have any other option than to go get a QB thanks to Kirby running off Justin Fields.
Just another reminder that there is no sport where the moniker "defending champions" has less meaning than CFB.
I will mark that one down as a W for Where Eagles Dare
Coastal Carolina has more votes than Oklahoma
Tulsa should be ranked
Never will there be a year where week-to-week polls are completely meaningless quite like we’ll see in 2020.
