All potential openings: please stay away from Florida’s OC. He’s totally not ready and it will end poorly. Our DC, however...totally ready. Definite program maker.
#Auburn Tigers #Michigan Wolverines #Virginia Tech Hokies #Arizona Wildcats #Syracuse Orange #Tennessee Volunteers #Illinois Fightin' Illini #Nebraska Cornhuskers #California Golden Bears you bois hearing anything on your end??
Our AD sucks and is in over his head so I suspect Sumlin decision comes later than it should, he completely botches the next hire, or both.
Probably the same as most other schools Cristobal, he only makes 2.5mm, but has an 8mm Buyout and some ugly loses recently Napier. His 5mm demand from SC seems a bit ridiculous tho. Pay him 3mm with incentives and it almost cancels out Gus's buyout. Maybe some of the B1G coaches at lower schools, but they all make good money now. 4-5mm+ I guess Clemson OC maybe. Is Sark sober? Pray Joe Brady hates the NFL Hugh Freeze
I find the focus on this silly, especially knowing where the leaks are being disseminated through the SC avenues. The other details around wanting 9-10mill/yr for total staff salaries seems more important, but they're obviously going to want to push that napier thinks too highly of himself vs wanting a highly paid staff to compete. Seeing first hand Dabo's success being built on paying huge staff salaries and taking decreased pay increases, etc i imagine plays a part in napiers angling.
Tom Allen is going nowhere "Indiana University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass announced today that IU and IU Football Coach Tom Allen have agreed to terms on a new seven-year contract with an average annual compensation of $3.9 million." From December of 2019
Based on the Rich Rod and Sumlin hires, I'm guessing the decision depends on how soon Tom Herman becomes available.
sc_chant Please stay away from Jamey Muh’Fucking Chadwell and DC Chad Staggs, thank you and good luck in your searches.
The Indiana staff at a program like Michigan would be scary, glad that Allen is staying home for awhile
Exactly. Former AD Greg Byrne (now Bama’s AD) hired Rich Rod but the point remains... our last three coaches have been Mike Stoops, Rich Rod, and Sumlin... I’m seeing a trend. We need to stop trying to win the press conference and hire a proven up and coming coach from a non-power five program.
UM is too cheap to pay that buyout, hopefully a Tony Elliott or Brent Venables but we’ll most likely end up with an extended Harbaugh or a Michigan man like Harold Goodwin.
#Penn State Nittany Lions has there been any discord in the football program due to this season or will it get chalked up to covid
Doesn't seem to be a lot of smoke around Franklin. Consensus seems to be he gets a pass for now, but the fans are obviously pissed.
They come with no P5 experience. Nobody should want them. 18-17 in 3 seasons isn't P5 worthy IMHO Spoiler seriously guys, leave him alone
If Franklin moves on it will be his choice. No way the school takes any action on their own after this season.
I, for one, think Pete Golding would be a great hire for any of the openings this year. literally any of them.
Any new coach would be lucky to have Dameyune Craig as WR coach brilliant recruiter and he can definitely coach the hell out of WRs
