Not when you can just Executive Order anything you want to do. This is where we are son.
The supreme court laughs at that suggestion
Not once she packs the court. You guys still playing by the old rules...
Six new polls dropped today:
ABC/Wash Post National:
Biden 29 Sanders 19 Warren 18
Biden 29 Sanders 26 Warren 17
Warren 27 Biden 26 Sanders 25
Sanders 29 Biden 27 Warren 18
Biden 43 Sanders 18 Warren 14
Boston Globe Mass:
Biden 26 Warren 24 Sanders 8
its really moronic that arbitrary state sequencing has such a big impact
like despite Biden having a huge SC lead he'll never win if he loses everything prior
you have to prioritize democratic feelings or party power, balancing both gets clunky
WTF is with that CBS/YouGov SC poll?
CBS and YouGov partnered to conduct a poll of South Carolina’s primaries
A lot of Clemson posters in SC
(the most common argument ftr)
Biden is going to fucking win this thing, isn't he
No. Those posted polls were awful for him and he has the debate stage this week.
SC is pretty irrelevant
I don't believe you
hes not the favorite at the moment
Look how Biden has been trending and look how Warren has been trending
You're irrelevant, you stupid dick
Cool another mad guy online complaining about Bernie bros lmbo
Look at a Bernie Bro pretending like a woman doesn't exist
The positive to this for me, does anyone think Biden is going to say or do anything that will wrestle the lead back from anyone? Dude has been a leaving breathing gaffe for months now.
I’ve personally shushed them into nonexistence
Do not do this
I'd have a beer with him
Watch Beto jump into a crowd like a rock concert now.
mosh pit Bernie
Single payer with free at point of service healthcare now, anything less is an outright failure.
Guy thinks outside the box
I hope he starts doing finger guns next.
Didnt she lose though?
Already felt like this seat was very in-play, but if the Incumbent gets primaried by the MAGAphyte I really like the Dems' chances
Shit is obviously still fluid, but with the strength of Bernie’s numbers...
Warren will be on life support if she finishes 3rd in Iowa. Why? Because Bernie is all but certain to carry the mo of his IA win/2nd into NH for another W. At that point, he is not just the front runner but the “anti-Biden” choice as well. Wind will be out of the sails for Warren bc it’ll be Bernie carrying the progressive mantle.
A lot hinges on NV/SC since Biden lucks out w/ half of ST states being favorable.
If Warren supporters unite behind Bernie and he wins NV, I’ll actually start to believe he’ll be the nominee. If Warren refuses to step aside and Biden squeaks by for his 1st/2nd win, he probably gets a much needed W in SC and then goes into ST at worst 2-2 or 3-1...
This where the establishment comes in hard for Biden since they hate Sanders and blame his supporters for HRC’s loss (I don’t hold that view btw). Starting to feel like ‘16 all over again...
you started with an extremely unlikely premise (Warren being 3rd in Iowa) to build this entire post
dont be dumb
I was using the CBS poll posted above which has her in 3rd place. It’s a hypothetical.
and we can call you dumb for building an entire multi-faceted hypothetical based off one poll to get yourself upset about
Weren't you the one lamenting the “ingrained misogyny” that apparently still exists inside the dem electorate not so long ago? When did it become an impossibility for her to finish 3rd?
Vegas has her as the current favorite to win Iowa fwiw, building a hypothetical off her finishing third among another half dozen things potentially happening is dumb and inventing something to get mad about
but have it chief
Maybe it’s you who shouldn’t freak out about a hypothetical. Lots of us see things posted we don’t agree with. Chill out chief
the misogyny thing doesn't have anything to do with this is why I said huh
I thought the misogyny argument was about Dem voters who liked her but doubted her electability, and were thus likely to support Bernie/Biden instead. But enough arguing over this, I used a poll that shows Warren in 3rd to describe the ripple effects should those numbers match the caucus results. None of us knows for sure what’ll happen. Gonna be a lot of attack ads, verbal spars, etc. You’ll notice I also prefaced the post by conceding things are fluid.
You can find a poll to show you pretty much anything, like Trump having a net positive approval rating every once in awhile (Rasmussen). That’s why you should look at things in the aggregate.
She’d still be my #1
Billy King, probably
Nothing kicks starts this thread like any news Warren might have weakness.
Sure, if you make up a weakness...
Come on dude, at least try and be a little objective.
Your post read entirely like a Bernie bro freaking out that Warren may ruin his chances of winning the nomination based off one poll
I'm not sure if the concept of "electability" would even exist if not for pundits talking about it constantly on cable TV for two decades
Electability is a house of cards. No one thought Obama was electable in 2007. No one thought Trump was electable on Nov. 1, 2016.
