Brown. Imo he’ll get more opportunities in a better offense. But, I’d sit on that waiver pick until more of a sure thing is available.
I'm in a 96-team best ball league that's made up of 8 divisions of 12 teams, with drafts occurring within those divisions (so a player can be on up to 8 teams). It's played by this year's Scott Fish Bowl rules, so the scoring system is unique (TE premium, 0.5 per first down, 0.5 points per completion, -1 for an incompletion, etc.). This is my lineup as of now: QB: Lamar Jackson, Gardner Minshew RB: Chris Carson, Raheem Mostert, Malcolm Brown WR: Davante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Robby Anderson, Anthony Miller TE: Jared Cook This lineup has scored 287.52 points. Of the 96 teams, I am ahead of every single one of them by at least 20 points, and am at least 50 points ahead of every team except for two. And I still have Evan Engram to play, who could pass Cook up.
Crapshoot since we haven’t seen the titans play yet. Will probably know more tonight. Probably titans though. Seems like they have more talent on defense and an opponent that should be easier to stop.
Half of the Eagles line was missing and I think Wentz was sacked 8 times or something like that. That said, Reagor did impress me, he has break away speed.
In a 1QB, 4pt Pass TD league, will I regret trying to trade Matt Ryan + a Flex piece for a QB with rushing upside? Thinking Russ, Kyler, or Lamar (obviously the price would vary on each). I hate not having a QB with rushing upside.
You won’t need the upside with Matt Ryan having to likely throw it that much the whole season. Their defense looked like hot garbage, granted the Seahawks looked efficient as hell.
My league of record team is not the healthiest at the moment, Kittle, Sanders, and Sutton so far. Stay safe, Derrick Henry and Calvin Ridley.
Gonna end up with 1 point combined between Conner and Michael Thomas. 2nd least points in the league but playing the team with the least points
Oh, I’m watching. And that’s why I drafted Kamara with the #2 pick in one league this year. Had #2 pick twice and took Saq and Kamara. Saquon burned me last year. I have hope though.
I went 4-0 this week but have James Conner in 3 leagues so I’m going to bed with a bad taste in my mouth
thoughts on this trade (full point ppr) my QB is Bridgewater Trade: Saquon Barkley Devante Parker Receive: Aaron Rodgers* CEH Rodgers is his backup, Watson is his starter at QB
As a Kittle owner, trying to decide what % of FAAB to bid on Goedert. I won't know more on Kittle until tomorrow, so it seems fair to play it safe and grab a reliable backup to hold these next few weeks. But if he's fine, I'll wish I had that 20% of FAAB back.
Don't waste your money for a 1 week rental, get Kittle's backup Dwelley or Jordan Reed for a buck each. Dwelley scored the week Kittle missed last year.
Barkley will be fine. Yes there OL is bad but the Pitt DL is stupid good. Connor got hurt and Snell took advantage of the reps. Don’t think he is a sure fire starter or anything though. Malcolm Brown looked good but think he will be hot/cold weekly and unpredictable. Not dying to grab him. I think sometimes the best move you can make week 1 is not put a waiver claim in at all and see who people are overreacting against and dropping. It’s likely someone will be dropped that is better than what’s available on the wire.
I decided to use a No. 1 waiver on Brown this week because every RB goes off the shelf as soon as the wire is open. If I don’t stash him, someone will. Snell already is gone. Don’t think Hines gets enough red zone. I also expect waivers to flip a lot this year because of Covid substitutions in lineups. I’m not expecting people to sit on priority waivers like normal years. RBs will be Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, Devin Singletary, JK Dobbins, and Brown.
I have waivers in for nyheim hines and malcom brown, letting go tevin Coleman and Boston scott i think thats reasonable
If you are thin at RB he is worth a shot because he should catch a lot of balls. My view on Hines is mostly impacted by Jonathan Taylor in Indy. I think Taylor takes over the snaps. He has top end speed, was very durable in college, and showed as a decent receiver last year at Wisconsin. Taylor is more talented and he is an every down back. I put in a lower priority waiver for Hines (Armstead drop), but that one won’t clear.
That’s where the decision is tough. Seems like either way these guys will get a similar amount of touches, so it’s a decision between a high ceiling guy that can consistently get points with receptions or a high floor guy that’s TD dependent. Have Mostert/Coleman, Mixon, and Miles Sanders so would like to get solid production and get it right with #1 waiver priority. It’s tough to see a better opportunity coming later.
This is where I'm at. Debating whether or not to put a claim in for Malcom Brown, who I'll probably never use, or just sit tight and move up the waiver order so that I get priority when I actually need someone.
Down 6 starting Giants last possession... Danny Dimes TD pass put me over the top by 1.5 pts. Per CBS Win %ages, I had a 1% chance of victory.
Not sure how I’ve dodged all of these injuries so far. Not a single one. It’ll probably hit me mid-season or around playoff time.
This play happened with like a minute left while they were running the clock out. No reason for him to be in the game at that point, but selfishly was happy to see him still playing because he had gotten less than 5 points at that point. Ended up having third most points in league this week but lost by less than 6 points, primarily due to thomas (my top pick) having 25% of projected total. Regardless, still love the guy ;)
I dealt Akers and Woods away to get him in a 12 team league with 3 wr and a flex. Hoping he comes back soon
