Oof, just noticed he's going Monday night and the Saints have a bye the next week. Would suck to roll the dice on him only to have them elect to hold him out through the bye like just happened with Davante Adams.
He practiced for a good chunk of last week so I’d be a little surprised if he didn’t play, especially with us now trailing the Bucs in the division. Tomorrow will be a key day for guys like Mostert and Thomas
Guy offered me Melvin Gordon and Jarvis Landry for CEH. I laughed but then checked his team, thinking about counter-offering asking for ARob and Gordon. I don't like the idea of losing CEH but my best receivers are CeeDee and Tyler Boyd, so ARob would be an upgrade/nice additional piece. My other top RB is James Conner Thoughts?
Do I start Herbert or Bridgewater? Normally I would go Herbert but Bridgewater is going against Atlanta’s D and I only need it for one game as Rodgers has a bye.
Give me Robby and Henry. Ingram is droppable. He’s had fewer than 10 carries in every game and is now below Edwards in carries. Ravens have four backs with LJ. Gage while a great story is still going to be 3rd or 4th in Atlanta. Mixon is the only real piece on that side and your either paying for his highest scoring fantasy day last week or trying to sell high on it. Henry has had his bye and is on pace for something like 460 carries. Robby has also taken the edge over Moore as most heavily targeted receiver on a bad Carolina team that will be throwing the ball a ton and Robby has looked like a wr1 so far. edit: Just saw two more Titans test positive. I don’t think that’d dissuade me. Every player is a gamble this year with covid and no training camp. Henry is the best player and I like the flexibility of adding a third off the ww.
This week I currently have Allen Robinson benched at home against Tampa in favor of: Diggs at Tenn Jordan Jefferson at Seattle McLaurin home against the Rams I also have TY Hilton as a possible start at Cleveland or Crowder at home against Arizona. My reasoning to sit these two is that Hilton draws Denzel Ward and hasn’t produced, while Crowder draws Patrick Peterson. Diggs has the best QB and offense. Jefferson has the best matchup. Although McLaurin draws Ramsey, I don’t really trust Foles/Trubisky as Chicago’s QBs. Should I swap Robinson for McLaurin? Robinson had 3 catches for 30 yards last week before the final drive, so his numbers are misleading.
I think it depends upon how much faith you have in Burrow getting Cincinnati better. Mixon was dreadful before last week. Henry is the better RB.
I feel like I should stick with Lamar, but should I put in Brady against Bears tomorrow or keep Lamar in against Bengals Sunday
Washington has demoted Haskins to third string QB and promoted Kyle Allen as the starter for any McLaurin owners.
Really sucks for me in best ball as Haskins was my late round back up QB choice, but I don't think much changes for Terry ... he transcends bad QB play IMO. Who knows, Allen may be the better option ...
Yes, he agreed with you. He countered with Darrell Henderson, Landry, Gordon and Emmanuel Sanders. I picked up Tonyan and Gabe Davis last night on waivers so I'm thinking I just sit tight, though I could put another one of my receivers in there. Maybe Boyd and CEH for Gordon and ARob. Slight uptick on WR's, which I need, slightly down on RB's which I think I can absorb if Conner can stay healthy.
Not thrilled about potentially being without Derrick Henry again this week. I was going to have to decide between Scotty Miller and Hunter Renfrow in my WR/TE flex, but now it looks like I may be starting both (if the Raiders-Chiefs game doesn't get postponed).
I’m going between McLaurin or Allen Robinson this week. Just switch back to Robinson because McClaurin is getting Jalen Ramsey and a new QB. May not matter if Bills/Titans doesn’t go because I will have to replace Diggs.
Have a logjam at WR. Pick 3: Allen Robinson, terry mclaurin, diontae johnson, justin jefferson 2 start and 1 for my flex. Right now I've got robinson, mclaurin and Johnson but man the JJ matchup vs Seattle is tough. Thoughts?
Ran through this above. Of Arob, Jefferson, and McLaurin, Jefferson has the best matchup. ARob’s stats were misleading last week because everything came on the final drive. I’m still starting over McLaurin because of McLaurin drawing Ramsey and swapping a new QB this week. Cant provide much insight on Johnson.
I'd good Arob there I think, but yeah still long on Terry. Maybe a chance to get him from some panicky owners ...
Maybe I missed something or I am behind. Traditionally do we not hear any updates on players until Thursday, unless they are playing the TNF game?
Aw missed that. Good points on mclaurin. I'm high on johnson with his target share in Pitt offense so mclaurin might be the odd man out.
Boyd and CEH for Gordon and ARob is more in line but I think you’d be giving up a bit more in this scenario. AJ Green has been a target monster but it’s clear he’s done and they’ve started the shift to Boyd and Higgins. Gordon has more competition than CEH with the return of Lindsay and he’s on a much worse team. ARob is going to play well regardless of whatever replacement level qb the bears decide to start. You’re on the right track in holding pat. Burrow is coming into his own and Boyd will benefit even more as the year progresses. CEH is the better talent and on the better team.
Will hear something positive or negative most often on Wednesday, and if they aren’t back to practice in a limited basis on Thursday the prospects of them playing Sunday are usually pretty small.
I agree with this line of thinking...as a CEH owner, I think you are giving up too much. The only thing missing from CEH is TDs right now and I have to believe those are coming. I also own Melvin and I've been trying to trade him around and no one in my league wants him. I get there is some risk with Lindsay coming back (I have him too) but Melvin has been producing this year and is a legit RB2. Just don't get the Melvin hate. On almost all the trade charts out there or ROS rankings, he's basically a third to fourth round pick if you were redrafting today. I offer him for Golloday (and this was when Golloday was still hurt) and the owner thinks I'm nuts.
Interesting to me that Ke'Shawn Vaughn was basically a free pick up in my not so deep 12 teamers. I'm not using him this Thursday but the backfield has been thinned out in TB, worth a stash and hold in case Fournette/McCoy injuries linger ...
I don’t dislike Gordon at all and don’t think Lindsay will make a huge difference it’s more that CEH has no competition and I think Boyd is a lot closer to ARob than people think. Gordon has proven to be very effective in a two back system even if Lindsay ate away some touches. Gordon is a legit rb2 in ppr. But CEH is an rb1 and ARob/Boyd are both in that wr1/2 fringe.
I love Boyd and may try to get him if folks are skeptical. Back to that trade though the issue was Landry for me. He's not a worthwhile return for CEH. If I gotta include Boyd in order to get ARob it's a pass, stand pat with your elite RBs and Lamb/Boyd will have to hold the line at WR ...
They're all pretty close, that order may be right. If someone wanted to swap Chubb/Mixon - or really any of the 3 around you could make a case for it.
Id say 1 taylor 2 mixon 3 chubb But the latter 2 are close. What makes me prefer mixon is that its clear he is the best back on his team and it feels plausible that his situation will improve in the next couple of years with burrow developing and pribably the OL improving
Mostert practicing on a limited basis today, which is a good sign of him trending toward playing this weekend. Can’t afford another week off with half my fucking RB’s already going down in my big money league
