I hate when they overturn shit like that.
I find him fascinating. Immensely talented. But clearly not the sharpest guy
For a reigning MVP to be playing so poorly on a team with juggernaut potential, it's like a bad car wreck I can't look away from
And as a longtime Mookie fan (like since he was in the low levels of the minors) I am smug that he's so much better
Looked like a great call to me
He beat the throw. He was safe. Shouldn’t be out bc there was a half second he was off the bag where you have to zoom in Anas slow it down to kinda see that he was out (I couldn’t tell with 100% certainty that his foot wasn’t still on the bag)
Won’t speak for anyone else, but it is fascinating to watch him this year struggle like he has coming off hours mvp season.
Bellinger is just so streaky. And those streaks in either direction seem to last for months.
Inside the park homers and RBI bunt singles
What a night when you factor in the heavy indica and burrito
Ugh thought Tatis he had one there! To the wall in center for a long out. 3 for his last 23
Understood. It is more the manner of how Cornelius brings it up then the overall discussion of his streakiness. Nbd tho, was just curious.
Stop trying to police the discussion in this thread
Tanner Houck with 5 shutout innings in his debut for Boston today
Wow we need robot umps now
That pollock called strike?
Anderson solo HR in B6 puts White Sox up 5-2. That dude is absolutely balling out
In the last 6 or 7 games, brewers have scored 19, 12 and now 18
Just atrocious. Padres broadcast just laughed and said “oh no”
Same location just called and Mookie is arguing with the ump, which feels rare.
What a play by Machado. Hot damn
That called strike three on saeger
That Grisham catch wasn't too shabby either
In that stretch the were also no hit and blew 2 saves. When they do score runs they aren't getting much wpa per run
Lindor with a 1-out, 2-run HR to LF off Jeffress to tie it 5-5 in T9
No one busts a slump quite like the Texas Rangers
Muscled that shit
Willson Contreras acting like a dick after he got hit in B9 of a 5-5 game
Slamming his bat and glaring back at the Cleveland pitcher. Like come on man no one is trying to hit you in that spot and you brought your hands down into the zone and basically got yourself hit anyway
Lol omg as further evidence of a lack of intent Wittgren plunks Maybin with the bases loaded to end it 6-5
FUCK PAT BEV
Wrong thread but I’m not fixing it
Ferguson for LAD strikes out profar but immediately calls for the trainer and is out of the game. Didn’t look great
Bumgarner had a 8-1 lead to B5 before he gave up a 5 spot to give LAA new life
His ERA is up over 8.00
Dbacks now only up 8-7 in B6 after a RBI double by Simmons
Wow 8-8 after a RBI double by Fletcher. Incredible collapse by Bumgarner
Year one of his contract not offering too much positive predictive value
You hate to see that for MadBum!!
Tatis all in his own head here taking pitches right in the heart of the zone before grounding out on a pitch low and away
That's really demoralizing to see
Pollock out here making horrible reads on fly balls in B9
Okay but fix it so the top seeds get byes
god manfred fuck you
at least give the division winners byes or something. don’t completely disincentivize the season
maybe the division winners and top wild card all get byes to the divisional round
Then people will bitch because the top teams had to sit and lost their rhythm or something.
I get the premise of expanding. The season is so long and too many markets have nothing to play for in August and September. From a business standpoint, it makes sense. I'm open to the idea of 12. 14 is really pushing it. 16 teams after a 162 game season is absurd.
Good to see Kenley not blow that
