To be fair to the Braves, there wasn't one simple thing they could have done to practically ensure victory that they inexplicably ignored. They just got beat by a better team.

I don't get this sentiment. They were easily the two best teams in baseball this year in their respective leagues.
I mostly just want to recognize the Boston Red Sox. They traded a top 3 baseball player on the planet despite the fact that they are a huge revenue team.
