50-60 year old man signalling to suck his dick, wonder who he votes for
That was Jo Jorgensen’s husband.
The real question isn’t pulling May, it’s why you go with Tsutsugo as the first lefty instead of Choi.
Thanks for confirming what I thought I saw
I know, but Babe is my biggest concern there so I would have left May in. It worked out though.
I’VE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YOU
He would never pitch 3 games in a row.
I'd go Graterol over Treinen if I'm Roberts
the constant whistling is giving me Bubb Rubb and Lil Sis vibes
I would too but I think I’d go Graterol over almost anyone.
That was an over-think moment. No way they let him see Choi if they don’t have to. Force the issue.
Treinen has thrown two straight days, gave up 2 runs yesterday, and hasn't looked good all postseason.
Graterol has also thrown the last 2 days, but threw a total of 14 pitches (30 for Treinen) and has been great outside of the one NLCS outing.
I just don't get this. I would have left Gonzalez in over Treinen, I think.
Turns out we're all dumb and Roberts is playing chess.
Womp womp. See you Tuesday.
Awesome answer by Dodgers after last night’s debacle.
Well he looked awesome buddy so freezing cold takes
Do you think Stafford and Kershaw watched each other's games today? They used to go to the same school and played Little League together, you know.
Not sure many #Cleveland Indians fans remember this
Another great game on this day, nearly 30 years ago now, huge KP fan growing up (born and raised in Houston, but my mom is from St. Paul and used to go up there at least once a year, if not both in summer and winter)
marcus can you confirm?
All Cops Have Medium Penises
Getting 5 innings out of Glasnow and still having a chance to win is kind of crazy in hindsight (and felt that way when it was happening, too). That's a lot of hard contact.
Weird to see Cole, Strasburg and Verlander (twice) on that list. I guess they are guys that are very confident in their fastball and just have it hit hard from time to time. Or maybe just that they've thrown a lot of postseason innings over the last few years and it's bound to happen.
I'm assuming it's mainly because most pitchers who get hit like that don't get to stay in the game very long, while those guys are going to be given every opportunity to get themselves out of it because of their stuff and track record.
The Strasburg game was a pretty dominant outing iirc - looking at the box score, he went 6 IP with 3 hits, 1 XBH, 1 run on a sac fly, 10 K/0 BB. Two line outs (one of which was more of a flare, by Kershaw, than a liner) and a comebacker.
This seems aggressive
I meant to post this
THIS WAR ON DELI MEATS WILL NOT STAND!!!
What are you trying to accomplish here by showing two replays we’ve all seen 500 times?
As the fan of a team that could potentially hire one of them, I thought this was interesting. I'm not really sure what I think of either guy getting a job again this soon. I don't think I have a problem with it, but it would be kind of cool to see more first timers get a shot over either of them, too.
This is why we let Cole go.
I don't have a subscription so haven't read that, yet it seems like more folks will be upset if/when Hinch gets hired again than Cora. Yet, most people's understanding here in Houston is that the sign stealing system was the work of Cora and Beltran and that Hinch wasn't a fan of it (but also didn't do enough to shut it down obviously). Regardless, I honestly don't care if either of them manage again, especially since neither one will ever be considered for a gig here.
this guy just a local hack or someone who might have some intel? #Houston Astros
His wife was basically the black sheep of the players' wives and excluded from all the shit they did. So this isn't surprising.
She looks absolutely fucking insane.
also he's from connecticut. not like he chose to live here. hope he does well and makes a lot of $
Why? Asking for a friend in need of a right handed bat
i don't really know any of the details. have a friend who manages money for some astros and other players in mlb so just stuff i've heard through the grapevine. i think she's just annoying
Seems like it has always been assumed that Springer and Correa would walk whenever they hit FA. At least the stuff I've read. Correa's fallen back and gotten hurt a ton the last 2-3 years, and with all those SS available next winter maybe he's more affordable.
I've read Boston could be a Springer destination, but that seems weird to me even though he's from that area. Why trade Mookie and then replace him with a $25M+ guy in his 30s the next offseason?
It is a shame Springer is leaving without a WS title, but I don’t blame him for wanting to leave and attempt to rebuild his reputation.
