Lol sorry Baltimore
Cleveland’s % makes me angry. Can’t imagine how pissed I’d be if I was a fan of theirs.
Rays seem low.
the NL Central having almost no chance at a wildcard is pretty crazy.
fangraphs actually have the Pirates projected to be three games worse than the Orioles.
Sad thing is as much as I'd like to see Cleveland punished this year by them sucking on the field, I think that % is too low. That org seems to find ways to win every year at this point no matter who they trade or lose.
SIAP but this kinda blew my mind
Glad the Dodgers have just figured it out
This one is a head scratcher to me. Trading a good prospect at catcher, a position that has been a black hole for the entirety of your franchise, for two guys who recently got DFA’d?
Happy Pitchers and Catchers day!
Helps having Detroit and KC in the division these last few years.
Does anyone read Jim Bowden's articles at The Athletic? Just curious
I do yes.
Seems like Michael Kopech is going to be in the bullpen for the White Sox from day 1 before moving to starting again next year
Kopech, Crochet, Bummer, Hendriks
that bullpen is going to be outrageous
i really hate you for bitching about your team so much recently
the rangers ace is kyle gibson
How is Kopech mentally?
Supposedly he’s fine- by all accounts he’s actually throwing harder than before the injury. I think there’s a big difference mentally between 22/23 (last we saw him) & 25 (this season). I’m very high on him and so are the White Sox staff
you are rebuilding, the Sox are trying to win the World Series this year
yeah and they have two of the best pitchers in baseball, one of the best #3 starters, cease who should be very good, and one of rodon/lopez
they’ll be just fine
That doesn’t even mention Codi Heuer, Matt Foster, or Evan Marshall.
Their bullpen is absolutely filthy
how will sox fans survive :(
As a younger bulls fan, I understand being battered down by the Reisdorf’s bullshit, but the Sox are one of the more complete teams in baseball. Also, they are on the rise and just entering their championship window. If you’re bitching now, you’re not going to have much fun when/if they plateau.
i love this answer, btw
Reinsdorf is going to fuck this up for us, his tenure as White Sox owner is consistently mediocre
God it would be so awesome to be that talented and young and yeah, I’m jealous
Holy shit congrats San Diego fans
Southern Cal just running the baseball world right now
Atlanta contracts again seem absolutely criminal
Loloololol James Shields
was thinking to shield you from this news, but nah
guess i am in the minority but i think giving that deal to a guy who’s played 143 games that you have under control for 4 more years (saw on twitter not gonna fact check) is pretty silly and bidding against yourself
Congrats #Chicago White Sox fans
I think the 143 games is risky but if you think he's the guy I gladly give up the 4 years of control to ensure having him his whole career.
Is there anything Ronald Acuña can do to get a better contract because by comparison he is getting a bad deal
shut the f up
Atlanta takes advantage of their players with poor upbringings instead of rewarding them, it's sad
My first thought is I feel really bad for Ron's 10/100 deal
It’s gross malfeasance by his agent
he lost at least $100m signing that deal. if not more
