This thread lays a lot of it out.
Just a garbage organization. Don’t forget, they were sued a couple years ago for racial and gender discrimination by their head of training/performance.
And if you somehow don’t think this organization is garbage, just consider that the dipshit who made those comments sexually harassed women in the M’s organization about a decade ago, for which the Mariners had to settle multiple claims.
I hate them so much
god those mather comments are trash all the way around
The comments are awful but if you’re the players association you have to love it - use those as the opening lines of the next offer to the owners. It’s crazy but he’s made the case the players have been trying to make for years and he did via zoom on a random Saturday
always good when you insult your top two prospects
Mather is out by the end of the week, right?
I hope so
Do the Mariners call up Kelenic for opening day now after he made that comment? That's a grievance the PA might actually be able to win if it plays out like he stated.
Hell yes. Please clean house tho
By the end of the hour!
I also like that his first thought after all of this was “who the hell leaked the audio?!” Not “well, I probably shouldn’t have said all of that”.
I’m glad he lost his job
Winning on the field is their mission lol keep up the good work folks
Lil Mike Pencek’s fly is all grown up
Bout right for April sports in Ohio anyways
Indians don’t even have. 30% capacity in July or August.
I look forward to when he has a slump and Chicago radio starts the “if he cared more about baseball than musics videos” talk
announced his retirement tonight. One final year
feel so bad watching him waste away in Los Angeles of Anaheim
I’m so glad the Angels came to Busch two years ago w fans in the crowd and we got to see him play there one last time
He’s my favorite baseball player.
Hope he gets a fan send off
I have a good feeling he will. He deserves it.
Speaking of Pujols, this was one of the baseball/sports moments I'll never forget where i was for it and he has haunted me ever since (and really before that, too, to be honest).
Come on Miguel Cabrera. Please do the same.
Kind of weird now how I watch that and the first thing that comes to mind is...
"And there's a drive to left field..."
Not sure if that's bad or good.
It's sad what has become of the AL. Is anyone really even trying?
That was a low blow
White Sox > Mets
Yankees rotation is a little suspect to be that high. They need several of these high risk/reward guys to pan out.
Cole - Ace
Kluber - Pitched like 35 innings in 2 years
Garcia - Only 21 but looked solid last year as a baby
Taillon - Hasn't pitched since May 2019
Montgomery - Last full season was 2017
German - Out all last season for being a turd
Servino - Back in June at the earliest
Schmidt - Unknown kid
Schmidt just got shut down for a month this morning, if I read the tweets correctly
what I took away from that power rankings tweet is that Judge and Stanton are so injury prone that Luke Voit found his way onto that graphic with Mookie, Tatis, Lindor and Acuna
on that note, anyone know the Vegas O/U for games played for Judge/Stanton?
Odd considering he was a bit salty on his way out but I'm guessing he had very few options
i’ll take the white sox over mets and braves
Does this have something to do w Mather?
Mather said their best pitcher was very boring
