Thank you no more questions
He’s going to Ohio St
If you think UGA is getting shut out on a top RB this cycle, well, you’re obviously scared of us. Ain’t happening.
And I guess what Im saying is the former - that its strange for Saban to do a package deal. He has a strong as hell track record of not doing it. Seemingly come close, like Sopsher last year, but never gone down that road from what i remember.
This just feels different. Some of those 3* you cited were kids well-regarded and recruited by others. Folks knew an Austin Shepard was a damn good player, just never got a higher ranking for a perceived lower ceiling. This take, despite what Watts is spinning, does not seem like a take on his own merit.
McGowan is OU’s to lose
Never change Laguna...
It is pretty dumb to think schools like Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State could possibly get some good recruits.
Sounds like Milton to Georgia now.
I couldn't give a fuck if it is a package deal type of thing, honestly. Missing on Keenan Allen by not offering his brother wasn't that big of a deal because the alternative was him going out west and us never having to play him. Sophser last year was good, but Evans is the type of talent that can lead the way in knocking a game or two off of you over 3-4 years at LSU/UGA (or A&M if they got back involved).
Said awhile back he's the best RB prospect since Fournette, if it pushes him to us, feed the mammoth 17 year old freshman for 4-5 years and let him ride the bench. Worth it.
But to be fair George is a hell of a lot better prospect than fucking Zach Maynard and Rodney Sophser, so.
if it helps your predictions, McGowen has already committed to OU. Lincoln tweets eyes emoji when we get a commit, and our mods all but confirmed McGowen is one of them, just waiting for his public tweet to go out on his commitment date. Think it's around July 4
In Bama's defense, I would support UGA taking George if it guaranteed getting Evans. I probably wouldn't do it if we had landed Sanders in the last class, but with McIntosh, the question marks regarding Zamir, and losing Swift and Herrien this year, I would have no problem with it. I think Evans is the best RB prospect not named Zamir White of the last several years.
Cam Akers still da gawd of recent RB prospects imo. Sad he's had to play behind that offensive line.
Outside of knee ligament strength, I don't see any area where he is superior to Zeus. Zeus is bigger, faster, quicker, and has a bigger dick (it is known). Guy averaged 14 yards/carry his senior year, playing only the first half of games, in historically one of the top divisions of NC high school football. And he was raised by a prison guard in the poorest county in NC. That there is the true gawd.
I don't know if you know this but knee ligaments are essential for playing football
it's an American tragedy
Briles for the save hopefully
That OL ruined Patrick and is doing the same to Cam.
Cook single handedly caused Clemson to completely alter our recruiting strategy.
would've been at least 1 more title for dabney
Sad that he was scared to compete in the ACC
We'll never know if his reconstructed knees would withstand the week-in, week-out gauntlet of abuse from such juggernauts as Duke, Maryland, Wake, UNC, UVA, Pitt, Georgia Tech, BC, Syracuse, etc.
Maryland is the big10, fella
We're getting there but I wouldn't call UNC a juggernaut just yet to be quite honest
Huge loss for the ACC
Congrats #Clemson Tigers on landing sage ennis
Is he not visiting FSU today?
No, "got home late and is tired"
one site thinks he may visit this weekend, but I think Clemson got him on the visit
kicking maryland's bum ass out is one of the greatest moments in ACC sports history.
Haven’t listened so cant vouch for it, just found this response funny
Don't forget Villanova
Avery Helms moved up in the 250 coming off the acl...good shite.
We've got 3 Dlineman taking OVs this weekend doubt we get.
In the eight signing classes from rom 2010 through 2017 Dooley and Jones signed a combined 18 recruits from the junior college ranks. The ‘hit rate’ on those 18 players was abysmal. Jones’ success with junior college recruits was particularly horrendous.
Here’s the list.
(** indicates players who transferred down from four year programs)
That’s a lot of misses.
Remove Kamara, Sims and Byron Moore, who were all productive starters to one degree or another, and Tennessee got very little production from those 18 signees.
Pruitt signed five junior college prospects in his first hastily assembled recruiting class/ Emmit Gooden, Jahmir Johnson, Dominick Wood-Anderson, Kenneth George and Jordan Allen..
We routinely got very little out of juco guys under Richt. Not sure if that's a sign of bad scouting, player development or if that's just the way it's is recruiting juco.
I have no idea how Tenn got Emmitt Gooden qualified. Our admissions folks said it was impossible so we had to drop him.
Keith is salty about Prime giving him the cold shoulder
Deion was with him.
Wouldn't let me interview his son. Said 247Sports hasn't given Shedeur any respect.
Man I bet Deion’s life is never gonna be the same after getting burned by Keith Niebuhr.
Sounds like a very tense and heated exchange
Flowe has visits to Clemson, Bama, and Georgia on deck. Exciting!
How good is he?
I see they don’t have him in the top 247.
Recruiting like a big boy is fun right!?
Winning championships like a big boy sure is.
Looks like he values winning championships, smart move by this kid.
