Dad is still gonna be playing in the NFL when his college eligibility runs out
Congrats to Auburn on being the next school he decommits from
Ze'Vian Capers is flipping to Auburn
We’re expecting to land Elijah Canion later today too.
Solid WR haul this cycle for us
How fun would it be if he flipped from Auburn to South Carolina on NSD?
I've seen things like that happen before.
I would love to see that happen personally, but I am not sure how much we'll keep pursuing him. Seems like they want more of a slot type guy in the last receiver spot or they may just take two.
I like Capers. What WRs does UGA want?
You guys are building a really good class IMO. Muschamp has recruited the DL really well and adding Burch is gross.
I like Lloyd and Bigsby.
Miami cant even land legacies smh
Yeah along with Burch they look like a good bet to land about half of the top 10 in NC.
Don't get me wrong, there are still a few kids in their class that have no business playing in the SEC. Muschamp tends to take some kids that should be at UT-Chattanooga. He needs to learn how to process some kids late for better players.
But overall this could turn out to be a really good class for them. The results on the field this season could come into play at some point though.
Wow I can see that everyone is terrified of what Will Muschamp is building
I think Muschamp will hold on to the majority of kids even if they struggle.
If a kid picks them over a school like UGA or Clemson it’s not because they expect USC to win more games. It’s due to other factors than on field success.
And in NC UNC and NC State don’t look poised to have big seasons. I think Mack Brown selling optimism has the best chance to snake any of their NC prospects.
Clemson and UGA going national in recruiting has opened up a great opportunity for USC to compete with a bunch of ACC programs and Tennessee for most of the better talent in NC/SC this cycle.
And, let me tell you, we're really good at being someone's backup
100% South Carolina is going to benefit greatly from our national recruiting. Just look at it now. Tank Bigsby would already be committed if we had recruited him. Lloyd is a miss I believe.
It's weird that Auburn isn't getting more traction in Ga.
And Tennessee's recruiting isn't where I expected it to be this early in '20 class. Rough.
I think Capers will get a look, but behind Rosemy on the wish list. Need 2 more WRs (one that can play on the perimeter and one slot wr), Rosemy and Henning being the ideal two but could very well miss on both.
Only 3 instate Georgia kids are takes right now:
- Arik Gilbert
- Brian Branch (Bama commit we just offered)
- and maybe Zykevious Walker
Georgia kids that could be takes + that have camped with us trying to earn offers:
- Tank Bigsby (supposedly impressed this week, would need to miss on top targets)
- WR Kobe Hudson (if we miss on Henning)
- WR Joshua Downs (if we miss on Henning)
- LB Lenneth Whitehead (doubtful bc he wants to play RB)
- LB BJ Ojulari
- LB Desmond Tisdol
Gore jr just seen what Lane did with Singletary...I respect it. Butch Davis at FIU though...
I'm still not used to this.
Georgia can do better than Henning.
Is Phillip Webb not a UGA target?
Dude, it's hard af to get elite WR's to RBU.
No. Never was.
He suck, or just not a scheme fit?
We are only taking two LB's I believe. Sherman and one of Flowe/Simpson/Whitehead(although I think he was offered out of courtesy).
We cooled on him
Henning is going to Michigan, kid is incredibly impressionable is the word on him. Michigan gets the last OV
Henning would be a perfect slot WR to compliment Rosemy and Robinson imo
Trenton Simpson announcing next week
We're recruiting him to play buck DE. Hope we land him
Some fat OL committed to us today.
Greg Biggins said... (original post)
Yeh pretty accurate, Bama is in there too but probably behind Clemson, UGA right now. I think USC is the only school out West he would stay home for just because he has a lot of family that wants him there. As of today though, I think he's leaning towards leaving the region
I never really felt like UNC would actually land this guy anyway
The LSU Tigers have gotten off to a hot start in the 2020 recruiting class, and already have 17 players committed.
The latest comes from 4-star 2020 S Jordan Toles, a Maryland native who will try to become the next defensive back to have a great LSU career.
The news of Toles’ decision was first reported by 247Sports, and you can read that story here. Per that report, Toles will also play basketball at LSU.
Per the 247Sports composite, Toles is the No. 9 safety in the class of 2020 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Maryland.
Some not fat OL committed to us today
Jimbo Sumlin strikes again!
Is Georgia still good at crootin, if so, why?
That's weird bc it wasn't a brag
Mario sends kids to the league. Just wait on it.
Good shite Canes, guess Mincey will be next to commit in state. What a weak yr for Oline
Damn thought Tate Johnson would be a nole
didnt see it posted in here, but Florida landed a few Top 1000 OL recruits
Weird when Jack Parkman gets scooped like that
Road graders you bastard. Elgton Jenkins was a 2*nhaha. .Reality we only have one coach who lives or die in recruiting. It shows, redoing our recruiting staff off the field which turned into a clusterfuck for a minute. Hev evolution trust it. Signed 7 last year so building up this oline. Reality also is we're not our recruiting Bama, Clemson lsu etc for a while. Could be worst.
