He’s got the bears drafting Tommy Kraemer who is not in this draft.
They did say it would be a wild ride
A 7 round mock in February is true degenerate stuff and I’m here for it
I spit out my coffee when I saw it!
People need to stop projecting the Dolphins trading up to #3 because it's getting my hopes up way too early. Tua is either going to be too hurt to be worth the third pick, or the Lions won't have any leverage because no one behind Miami will want it so we'll end up staying at three and taking Okudah or Brown.
does anyone really give a fuck about the draft after the 3rd or 4th round?
let alone a full mock draft before the combine
sounds like a plan to me
It's noise after the 3rd. Who did my team take and who of my college team got drafted
Fuck a mock last Rd 2
He also has the bears taking a QB in the 4th round because it’s clear he got lazy.
Isn't Chase Daniel a FA?
Yes, but they won’t waste draft capital on a player who has no shot of competing for a starting job or contributing to the team.
They will either trade for or sign a FA to fill the QB need.
These are my favorite responses to some guy putting in the time to do a 7-round mock.
Fucking guy sucks because there's no way my team would pick that guy on day 3
who sucks? The player or the dude doing the mock? I never said either sucked. Just that the pick was lazy. And it is.
Mocks are dumb. 7 round mocks are dumb as fuck. 7 round mocks this early are beyond dumb as fuck.
Having said that I’m jealous of anyone getting paid to do them.
When I see a full mock that has the Atlanta Falcons taking recognizable players in the mid and late rounds I roll my eyes because I know that Thomas Dimitroff is gonna draft some dude named Brystopher Moorly from James Madison’s JV team.
So you want to pay more money to a guy that won't start?
I don’t think Chicago is bringing in a pure backup. That’s why they won’t waste the draft capital on one.
I think the logic is that Chicago has to bring in someone to push Trubisky bc he’s clearly the weakest link on an otherwise talented team.
correct and a 4th round QB isn’t going to do that.
The guy made a 7 round mock draft with explanations for over 100 players and you're calling him lazy because of one pick he made for your team in the 130s. You might be right, but I think that's funny.
Why are people projecting the Dolphins to trade up to three for Tua when he'll still be there at five?
edit: nvm I suppose it's so the Panthers or someone like that doesn't swoop in and steal him
I’m in the camp that believes he’ll still be there at 5 and hope we don’t get duped into thinking there is a bidding war to jump us to get him
I love the direction he takes with the Cowboys top 3 picks, although I don’t think that player falls to us in the first. I’d also prefer a different wr in round two but like taking that position there.
The belief seems to be that Washington won't move off 2 so it gets Young, and NYG won't move off 4 because Gettleman doesn't trade, so the only action spot for a trade is 3 if someone wants to move ahead of Miami. I'm just not sure who those other teams might be, because I don't think Carolina, LAC, Vegas, Jax or Oakland would give up that much to do it. Also, Detroit badly needs a big time defensive player and I can't see them moving back further than 5 or 6 and jeopardizing losing both Okudah and Brown.
I think your making my statement to be more than intended. But glad you found some humor in it.
think he could be a helluva pick in rounds 2 or 3
His production behind our OL was incredible. I feel bad that he signed up for a team coming off 29 straight wins, a natty, Orange Bowl win etc and ended up on 3 of the worst fsu teams in 40 years
After your record from this years draft I’d like to lock in a futures bet for $1 million that the bears take a qb in the fourth round.
I've seen some list that rank him in the 8-12 range for RBs in this class. I think that's crazy. He's right in the mix with Taylor, Swift, Dobbin and CEH
I was wrong on Jacobs but pretty good on most of the other prospects. But please bet away.
After catching up on this page, I'm really going to be plugged in on the Bears taking a QB on Day 3 in April
We know you suck.
I don't see why the Bears couldn't bring in some competition for Trubs now and take a toolsey QB sometime on Saturday to develop, which is allegedly what their Head Coach specializes in.
If the Bears are that loaded, what's the likelihood that a 4th round pick would be a significant contributor if they want another direction?
They need to load up on QB's until something finally sticks.
The Bears aren't that loaded. They need OL (several), WR, TE, CB, S, K, and MLB. And thats all assuming Mitch works out.
bears gonna sign brady
I don’t know if it’s a lock that 2020 Brady is any improvement over 2020 Trubisky
brady is washed
If given the choice you're taking Trubisky over Brady as your QB next season?
they both suck but at least the bitchell has some mobility and you don’t have to give up assets/cap space to sign him
You also have to remember that Brady is a system QB and you're proposing he operates outside of his system
i didnt want to be the one to bring it up but i am glad someone did
Belichick is a system coach
The NFL is a system league
The system is a system system
