Nice little meltdown from that trailer trash redneck Realtree Buck in here yesterday. Good stuff
I thought Gordon looked pretty good. He’s going to be a solid day 3 selection.
Wirfs and Wills being gone by 10 would blow
Congratulations #New York Giants
Bucs trading up for Eason is really unlikely. Bruce Arians is going to be 68 this year, he's not hanging around 5 years to develop a rookie. If we move on from Jameis it will be for a guy like Rivers who can help you win now
Here’s to hoping Kinlaw or Brown have some pre draft drama that allows them to slide to 17.
Seeing some mocks with Jeudy at 15 to the broncos, I can't fathom him falling that far but id do cartwheels if he did.
If you're signing Rivers, seems like you would need to also draft his eventual replacement shortly after.
Signing Rivers is a win now move and we badly need help on the OL as well as a replacement for Suh. I don't think you can win now while also trading picks to move up for your 2022 qb. Gotta pick one or the other imo
Gettleman has drafted the last three Senior Bowl MVP's (all QB's)
Not seeing that happen with Kinlaw unfortunately
Agreed. If they stay at 10, I’d go Becton over Thomas. If Simmons was still there, I’d take him over either of those two.
Rivers as a win now move? Yikes at signing a guy who lead his team to 5 wins and threw 20 picks as a 38 year old. Especially a 38 year old that looked horrific the last 2 months of the season. Signing Rivers makes zero sense other than he'd carry a smaller cap hit than Jameis.
I don't like it but that's a popular idea amongst the Bucs media recently it seems
I don't have a ton to back up this but seems like most of the enormous offensive tackles entering the league flame out, 370 is quite big.
Who would that be?
Also I’m assuming DG will fuck it up and not draft Simmons so Tobias lets get ready for a let down
Copy that brother
Dolphins, Chargers are the next two teams up with needs at QB. Neither fall under "good"
Or Justin Herbert
edit: wrong thread but I’ll leave it since Tom Brady was a late-round pick and turned out to be good in case you weren’t aware
Why would he sign with Steinberg?
Because Galu told him to
Had no idea this kid was that good
I think the Chargers are fairly close
Please tag Realtree Buck any time how good Wills is is brought up in draft discussion. Seen him as high as 4 to NYG in mocks. It’ll be interesting to see if teams flip him to LT in the league or not.
I'd leave him at RT and just pencil him in as my starter for ten years
Apparently, going back to even highschool, Saban was always higher on Wills vs. Leatherwood. Alex was a consensus top 3 player. Can't say I expected it to end up like that.
Clearly written by a Bama fan. BIGGEST HOMER EVER
I would think so too, but you forget he’s been a blindside protector the past two seasons because of Tua being a lefty. Either way, he’s a stud.
I stand by my original statement
RT isn't any less important than left in today's nfl
Thomas was always deemed to be the best OL prospect throughout the year. Wills seems like the favorite now after last year's tape was studied. Becton is probably the most unique and will continue to rise up. Wirfs will likely have the best combine and testing of the four. It really could go in any order.
I like it as Wills, Becton, Wirfs, and then Thomas. As collegiate players, Thomas and Wills were the best imo.
I would take Josh Jones over Thomas as well
I heard on Rich Eisen today there are rumbles that Burrow might consider refusing to play for Cincinnati.
Hope that's true.
Even if he tries that, Cinci's history suggests that would only make them more likely to pick him.
If that happened, I have no doubt he ends up a panther
Would be the best thing for Cincy if he does that. Gives them cover to take the best player in the class.
55 wide outs invited to the combine... That's nuts.
Really looking forward to Reagor putting up great numbers and showing why he's on the top 3 WRs in this class.
