Question for the board: What leverage (if any) does Dak’s likely season-ending injury give Jerry Jones in contract-extension negotiations?
I'd think near none. Dak can still turn down any offer that isn't up to what he's looking for and Dallas basically has to tag him. That or let him walk, in which case some team will gladly pay him.
Need to fire the GM but yeah people need to move on. Also refs gifted that one to the Boys. Sad part.....
can’t wait for gettleman to be allowed to make another leonard williams for a 3rd trade in a desperate attempt to save his sorry ass
Philly’s not winning this division. They might split dividision games but they’re going to get stomped by the rest of their non-divisional opponents. 5 wins is their ceiling.
Its his ankle and he will still get paid. Would be nice if he could end up in NOLA. Why stay in Dallas at this point?
Not sure about that. Lot of teams may be hesitant to dish out a long term deal given the severity of the injury.
i realize cap space in the nfl is fake news, but i'd be really curious to see who would pursue him next year would philly? indy? vegas? saints? bears?
he may not get what he could of, but he’s probably getting paid we’ll still. If it’s not career ending he will still get a nice pay day. May not be 250 million, but he’ll get paid well.
any team that has space and isn’t named houston, arizona, kc, green bay, seattle, cincy, baltimore, or whoever gets 1.1 should go after him
Its more a necessity to do it immediately. With ankle dislocations, there's a high chance of a pinched or torn artery/vein in the ankle. Resetting the ankle allows them to ensure proper blood flow to the foot and not risk having it have to be amputated.
