I'd like a middle linebacker and a slot wr please. Figure the rest out in the draft
Bears gonna slide up and to the right of that chart before FA starts when they cut Gabriel and Prince. Frees cap space but they’ll need to replace a starting corner (Roberson CFL hopefully) and a starting WR. Also need to to find a real TE....fuck Trey Burton.
TE market not great..Hooper, Ebron, Henry, Olsen, Hollister, and it gets far worse after that.
Eborn has been floating rumors since the season ended on social media about joining Chicago. He was college teammates with Trubisky for a year and I guess we’ve got to keep Burton since he’d be like 7 mill of dead space if we cut him. I wouldn’t feel great about starting 2020 with Burton and Eborn but I’d feel better than trotting out Adam Shaheen’s bust ass....
Have been surprised how bad Burton has been for the Bears.
I’ll never forgive the guy for sitting himself out before the playoff game against Philly because “his body feels itself getting hurt before the fact and tightens up”. So basically he sat out for the fear he might get hurt I guess....
Fun times in South Philly
what the hell?
Make sure you read the whole article when he talks about “it locking up, his body protects itself” He’s been known to have major anxiety issues and I think that’s what happened before playing his former team. The Bears did their best to cover for him...
The chiefs core is young and under contract for a couple years. It’s difficult to see Chris Jones staying, I would anticipate him getting tagged and traded to a team like the Colts. After next year it will start to get very difficult for Veach to work around the impending Mahomes contract, but he has done pretty well already managing the cap and hitting on draft picks.
I think we can get 2 million people to donate $20 a year to Patrick privately so he can take a min salary.
Obviously the ravens offense saw success this season but does anyone else think that the offense would be more successful if they added WRs and spread teams out more? I always thought that a spread offense with good spacing and 1-2 WRs with deep speed was the best fit for Lamar. He’s improved as a passer more than I thought he would. Hollywood brown is the only ravens WR I would trust to win 1 on 1. If they got a better WR group I think they could attack more to the outside and make teams choose between spreading out and leaving lanes for Lamar or spying Lamar and giving WRs 1 on 1 matchups.
The main question is can Lamar make those outside throws consistently.
wonder if we will try shopping engram
seen a lot of giants fans saying to sell on him because of injuries which is fair but idk what his market would be and he's too talented to give up on imo
my theory would be that they wouldn’t have to be as difficult a throw if teams cheated another defender into the box to contain lamars running. I also think you can have a lot of screens/bubbles and throws like that. Doesn’t have to be all tough throws outside the numbers.
I just Think that spreading the defense out will actually give him some easier throws and/or more space to run.
I feel like the offense they ran last season was built for a power running QB like cam newton more than Lamar.
It's more like they are signing Washington Wizards Michael
I think they are better off wearing down teams with their efficiency like they did. I agree that element could be useful as a threat but you don't want to scrap everything that worked so well and start operating out of 2 and 10/3rd and long a lot.
Good news for the rest of the league, TD has 3 picks in the top 55. He's going to leave so much meat on the bone for good franchises.
#New Orleans Saints
He’s like the white Lamar.
Been fun while it’s lasted buddy. Good luck to you
I absolutely think Taysom is going to get a shot at QB for the Saints after next season. He has a cannon, he is pretty accurate and he can run, the only question is will he be able to read a defense to get to the 2nd / 3rd option. I think once Brees retires it'll be Taysom in a completely different style offensive game plan.
Not sure if you’re aware but the Mormons have 100 billion dollars and they will bring a team to SLC for Taysom. They will be called the Smiths.
Bucs getting new uniforms and they’re teasing it. It appears that they’re going back to a look similar to their Super Bowl era ones
orange creamsicle unis and Bucco Bruce please
Just get rid of the analog clock numbers
Those are digital clock numbers
I think a team should be innovative and do analog clock numbers
fuck yes #Jacksonville Jaguars
so glad this fine physical specimen is finally back in the league
It's amazing how many millionaire coaches can't get suits that fucking fit
that suit fits perfectly, you animal
The suit is tailored for his lunch pail, not his body.
Congrats on your new WR1, #New York Giants fans. Demarcus Robinson x Deputy Dimes will certainly be must see TV!
Todd Haley back to coordinating
For my alma mater hs
not sure how y’all plan on getting cincy to trade you 1.1 so you can get burrow
What would a trade for Cam look like? If he's damaged goods, why does Rap think the Panthers are going to get a big return for him?
Because nfl executives are dumb
I can't imagine the return is high when there is ample supply of free agent QB options
Missed this yesterday
Please happen. I need to beat Brady 4/4 in two years.
The Bills are early 2010's Bengals
