Why would anyone spend big money on a broken down Gurley?
I don’t think I’ve seen any reports of someone offering him big money
Why would anyone trade Nuk Hopkins for David Johnson and a second round pick? All NFL guys are dumbass meatheads
Gurley is 25, he may be broken but ridiculous to write him off
Don't think age has anything to do with it. More the fact that he tore his acl and has a degenerative condition in the knee.
ha ha to the boys
Flacco's career is over, right? The other available QBs are surely more intriguing and there's another 6+ QBs in the draft that I think you'd rather have.
You don't see him getting a backup job somewhere?
Where though? He's 35, out with a neck injury, and has been awful the last two years. I don't think he's better than most backups at this point or at least not so good that teams would play a younger guy.
I think I counted 52 QBs I'd rather have than Flacco, which ignores that a team may prefer to keep their guy who knows the system and may cheaper (e.g. one of the Pittsburgh backups from last year or Matt Schaub in Atlanta). Plus he has the injuries and the big minimum salary.
Throw in probably 8+ guys who'll either start or be on rosters next year from the draft - and the fact that teams only carry 2 QBs now - and I think he'll be the odd man out. Seems like such an abrupt ending for him so maybe he'll be a backup and mentor in Cincinnati or something.
This guy legit?
Congrats, Georgia alums who live in Atlanta.
I'll be interested to see where the money is for TG.
He would Def benefit from a canceled 2020 seasosn
Since we are going to suck bad this year, this gives me something to look forward to assuming we have a season.
And I hope he commutes to work everyday from Athens
Can’t believe he is only 25
watching him and David Johnson this year they looked like they were 45, all the explosion was gone
I'll take Chargers if no one else does.
Can I interest you in the 9ers or Texans instead? Those are the two teams we're still missing GMs.
I hope Jacques finds a practice squad
Were they not allowed to before? I dont know why they wouldnt
They weren't allowed to at some point during the NFL season. I know that after Stafford got injured, there were stories that the Lions couldn't try to sign one of the XFL quarterbacks. I always thought that was an XFL contract thing instead of an NFL thing, though.
Idk why the NFL would give a shit about taking XFL players. However I suppose the individual players could get sued for breach of contract or something if they just bolted for the NFL
heres a ton of money to get fuckin beat on
You could also I guess make one about the ball on the pass to Sanders WHO WAS WIDE THE FUCK OPEN FUCK YOU JIMMY GUAPO YOU ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!
9ers. I almost want to take the Texans as an interview for the real job.
#New Orleans Saints
Ehhh. He's OK as a guard, but can't stay healthy. More worried about re-signing Ramczyk.
But if we could keep Armstead - Peat - Ramcyzk - McCoy (who was awesome last year), we'll be alright.
Also, New Orleans has to be one of the best teams in the league at making the most out of cap hell. We keep kicking the can down the road while our window is open, have to imagine it'll bite us in the ass eventually.
Kamara is next. Not sure what he'll demand -- last year was by far his least productive, but he was also hurt. Don't think he'll get Zeke-type money. Marshon Lattimore is up soon, too.
Yes. I will allow this.
MG2 did you update the draft board?
Looks like both picks are 2021 picks, but I appreciate the note because I wouldn't have thought of it if they were 2020 picks.
draft ruggs or Jeudy then I'll get a bit excited, still have serious doubts about lock
Why would you pay that much to Melvin gordon
This is a great signing for us
Oh i love that
So stoked for the saints signing Sanders he's awesome let's go
