Dude does not have any real NFL experience and 1-2 decently successful CFB seasons as HC
I would state that Bienemy and Stefanski were two of the better, younger OCs last season
I know as a Saints fan, you hate the Vikings, but stop letting it affect your judgment
I can't agree with that. I think Bowles is a better HC if you're talking black HCs that deserved a longer rope.
Let’s not pretend like those last few years in Cincy had stacked team. I do agree with your point that the job probably wore on him and he checked out.
Right. Lewis just took a franchise that was at its lowest point and had them reach the playoffs in seven different seasons, also winning four division titles.
Maybe he’s just waiting for the right job to open up and I hope that job is Atlanta
I feel like Bowles was a guy they rode during a rebuild just to dump him the second they got a QB.
He did a nice job for a while but I think it was time to shake things up there. Can't say he didn't get a long leash.
Yeah, Cincy parting ways with Lewis was the right move for both because things got stale but that doesn’t explain why Marvin Lewis isn’t coaching somewhere else now
Maybe so. It's easy to bring up Lewis and his success because of the questionable hire of Zac Taylor. I think he's awful and will be gone after this season.
If I was Bienemy, it would have to be the absolute perfect job to take me away from being the OC for Patrick Mahomes
That is a dream gig for any coach, especially if the Chiefs fans are right and he did get to solely gameplan some games
I mean look at what Josh McDaniels fucked up once he went to Denver
Then he realized his mistake and begged Bill to get his job back
But he is an idiot and almost made the same mistake twice until Bill slapped some sense into him
Being a head coach is the dream gig not being an OC who doesn’t call plays.
Oh you mean the guy who drafted Tim Tebow?
Similar to Rivera
I'm glad my racist franchise in Washington shed their ugly image and hired a minority
He's been a HC for a few years. That's better than being an OC for 1 or not at all
That's crazy so you were in the room with them when this happened? You should write a book.
I believe he is more involved in the offense than we all know
and being the HC for unstable franchises like the Browns, Giants, Panthers are not good gigs to give up the best QB in the league for
Nick Saban was a CFB HC with little to no NFL experience too
And he was a good HC in the NFL. Terrible GM though.
i’d love to know some of dump’s inside sources
He was an NFL assistant for six years
being a head coach is better
I feel like it depends on the person. Some people may value job security, being in a stable environment, and not having to deal with the stresses of the FO and media as much as possible as good things
its the same reason some people like being QB2 instead of QB1
9-7 his first year with Gus Frerotte at QB. JT had the best year of his career under Saban (won DPOY). If Miami's doctors didn't fuck up and recommend not signing Brees, Saban might still be in Miami.
I'd take Marvin Lewis as the Jags HC.
He’s married to Mike Sherman’s daughter.
yea he went from A&M to Miami with Sherman
Hmm, who’s got a better finger on the pulse of the Miami Dolphins? The Dolphins fan or the kid who’s been a Cowboys, Browns and Cardinals fan in the last five years.
yeah but the Dolphins fan lives in the Bahamas and was fucked by a stingray sooo
Dump you ok big fella? We are here for youv
It will never not be baffling to me how athletes get DUIs
Only some of this is true
You can criticize the Browns for pretty much everything but they hire more diversity into leadership positions than pretty much any team in the NFL.
that’s why dump left the browns
I do really like the Andrew Berry hire
the relationship was too rocky to salvage once Johnny Manziel busted out
getting a dwi while driving an obnoxious pickup truck
the texan bar mitzvah
dump lecturing on diversity
as an Italian American I feel like I have a right to do it
my people have been stereotyped for centuries
By God that's thrasher's music
Fucking Luke Del Rio just got an offensive quality control job with the Redskins. If he's not a total disaster then within a few years he'll likely start working his way up the ladder and nepotism wins again.
This is sad
Sounds like the show All American on Netflix.
I grew up down the street from a high ranking front office member. Last time I saw him I prodded him about working for a Haslam owned entity and he was pretty adamant the culture was strong there. He's very liberal so I trust him on that
Look at someone like McVey. Sure he turned out to be a good coach but something tells me he wouldnt have been a head coach this early if his grandfather hadn't been the GM of the 49ers and had that relationship land him a job with Jon Gruden, who worked for McVey's grandfather at one point
