probably based on what’s called and what isn’t. I don’t think Arizona has been called
They've been really fucking up the VP tie breaker since last night. It really makes no sense
Similar to the Dems' "impeachment coup attempt" (to usher in the new Mike Pence era).
lol at progressive policies with manchin. Would be a big win just to get cabinet secretaries approved and some stimulus
I think you are right
He looks like Seth Macfarlane if he was chubby and good at math instead of funny
Yeah but the value of uses and overall traffic would probably go up if all information could be trusted.
Less bots, less bullshit
This is good posting
PA is going blue there is no way for Trump to keep that thin lead. It’s over just want to run up the score.
Just call PA today pls
We’re again confusing policies and coalition. Democrats need to do a better fucking job breaking through the propaganda and explaining what their policies are doing.
Does Pennsylvania have 1 person counting 1 ballot at a time and that’s it? I don’t understand how this is taking so long and feels like we are nowhere close to the end
You in a nutshell:
Everybody: Man this is so tense. I'm on pins and needles...
You: Well actually none of this matters because its still gonna suck.
they brought a DJ
Think I saw that they are up against capacity issues. They could move into a bigger space that would wouid require security, equipment set up, moving the people, and the stuff being counted
Would end up taking longer
Good to keep in mind:
I’ve read people theorizing that it would be much tougher for manchin to break from the Dems in a true 50-50 split but who knows. The guy is probably on his last term so could get wild — if Dems can actually get 50 seats which is a long shot.
I guess this is why I took confidence in the polling. It lined up with what was happening outside of Atlanta.
Just assumed the suburbs in other states were acting the same way...
just in the 6th and 7th Districts north of ATL there was conservatively a 30% point shift from 2016 to 2020.
after this is over can we talk about tech solutions for our voting process?
surely, this isn't the best we can do. I understand there are security concerns, but what are countries in Europe using at this point? there has to be options.
Lucky you for getting out. Mostly drove by there as a kid and then as an adult on the way to superior beaches, such as OBX. Always remember thinking, what a trashy dump and why anyone would want to live there. OC MD (which has since become a hellhole) and the Delaware beaches were always prioritized when OBX wasn’t an option. VA Beach was the last resort and was usually a letdown.
This would be enough to get Biden over if my math is right
Watching these votes slowly trickle in in PA is agonizing.
* Biden is still on track to win by a healthy margin
why would it be tougher? There are also 1 or 2 other moderate dems. The dems needed 53 or 54 seats (maybe 51-52 and DC statehood) to have a chance at progressive policies. The house losses also make that tougher.
Yeah, tourists like you suck so pls never come back. Avoiding 5th to 42nd street and it's fine.
Forsyth is honestly shocking
He's not going anywhere until the Dem majority is solid in the Senate. anyone that replaces him in West Virginia is going to be the trumpiest of trumpers.
never thought Cherokee and Forsyth would actually decrease their support for Trump
Pls Show your work, Vader.
Why can’t you use touchscreens to make the votes, which then are instantly sent electronically, then printed out on a paper ballot just as one would normally fill out? The voter can then review the printout to make sure it matches their vote and then turn in the paper ballot as usual.
Real time electronic results with the ability to count the paper copies as official confirmation.
61 is pretty good shape even at 60% I think that puts him ahead
Been telling all you ppl this.
Forysth is probably the biggest growing Co and not just farm lands anymore. I know a ton of ppl that moved out there from the City.
Every state isn’t like this.
The issues you’re seeing are deliberately planned by Republican legislators and officials.
Yea, i had expressed concern itt and to Pile Driving Miss Daisy that it looked like Trump was going to kill it there based on Turnout.
Turns out there are a nominal amount of white ppl that do not suck up there.
Tech solutions are problematic because I think they’ll inherently sacrifice either privacy or security. Like, I get that it sucks to have to wait a few days for the count, but I think the government’s interest in maintaining a secure, secret ballot outweigh cutting wait times for a count.
Counting mail-ins as they come in or at least day of would really reduce the issue though.
It’s been one of the fastest growing counties in America for many years now. The demographics of that growth are finally starting to change though. Great news.
just another tiny batch from PA and biden gained 6764 on a total of 12708 new votes, so thats about a 77-23 split
E-voting is real bad
What size house can you get up there compared to where we live? Theres just no chance in hell Id ever do that commute. But if we are going to be Quarantined Remote for perpetuity then suppose there is not use living close to cultural centers.
This was how mine went
Don't like that putnam number.
