Didn't pay attention to that.
That's the real story. I'm not sure he has any on-field coaching experience?
I'm not in favor of it
honestly ST coach is nothing more than a label for a pay raise these days
Tell that to Bama kickers.
Can't imagine why we'd do that. Seems fucking dumb
better ST “coach” =/= better kickers
They must really like cochran as a ST guy and wanted to poach him but the only way they could justify the money was to stick the ST coach label onto him
When I was in school in 08-12 I saw Kirby and Cochran out one night with their wives. They must still be friends I guess.
which is glaring when you see how bad some STs are
Yea but Kirby did choose Fromm over Fields.
Two meatheads in a pod
What the fuck
first the LED lights, now Cochran.
I feel bad for whoever is now in their last season as UGA strength coach.
fuck that Sinclair is a beast
I'm sure he is. But now he has Cochran, and coaches best friend, on staff lingering.
yeah you know cochran is going to think he can do his job better
Blaming strength coaches for injuries is overblown imo. But people have to have a whipping boy. Can’t just be “that’s the way th cookie crumbles”
I’m so confused. I know we’ve lost our other two S&C guys; one is at Oregon and one just left to work for Pittman.
Sinclair is better than Cochran. This doesn’t really make sense.
Wouldn't that limit the amount of time he can spend overseeing their workouts given time coaches can have with the players?
he’s coming as special teams coach not S&C
Giving a meathead an on-field position seems dumb, but it worked out for LSU so what do I know?
That mother fucker doesn't know shit about special teams.
yes we are on the same page about that part
Maybe he'll help us on our fake punts
Imagine how jacked Rodrigo would've been though
Maybe 5 years ago, I just don’t really believe that’s the case currently
UGA and Bama are just going to keep raising coaches salaries overall by taking from the other. By 2023 every on field coach will be paid over $1 million.
I’m sure that a bunch of cookies just happened to decide to crumble for the three and half straight years UF lost at least 5 players per season to ACL tears during the Dillman era.
I'm talking about you saying that ST coach just equals pay raise. It's obvious that Bama has needed a real ST coach for years now.
Cole’s take is absurd. He really wants people to believe losing Scott Cochran is the biggest hit to Saban’s staff? Get outta here.
Listening to this guy every day has to be painful
Cochran obviously wants to bail on the SECW now that it’s Lane’s division
Hopefully Cochran snaps a pic of Bama's recruiting board. They always love that.
It is and people still do it in the face of 0 evidence.
think they've had like 10 injuries a year the past 3-4years
i know they lost like their entire defense in 2016 and last year they had a whole boatload of injuries
think having anywhere from 5-10 injuries a year is average for a big time program no?
think if you have less than that from the start of fall camp until the end of the season is a very lucky year
idk i don't rly follow football, i just follow the banter
you sound like my buddy Shookup
mods plz delete
this is insider info
Had Cochran ever even played football? High School?
