holy shit, go SEC. can't wait to see the crying in Mississippi over this one.
The response by gator fans was wild disappointing but I’m sure they won’t actually do anything bc they’re too much of pussies to actually take a stance on anything
There won’t be a ton of it. Lots of folks like the Stennis Flag option and are ready for a change. There is a very vocal small minority that will bitch and moan of course.
Tunica gets the golf tournament every other year.
Well they did change it from this in 2003
I've always thought that was the biggest troll job in recent history. Oh you don't like the stars and bars?? Yeah this one is so much better!! *thumbs up, bites lower lip*
You could say they pulled a LeeRooooyy Jennkkins.
Having a flag based on Revolutionary War iconography
All of those people are still more attractive than Les Miles' wife.
#Mississippi Rebels will be honoring its most famous alumni during the Auburn game
Leach not covering the nose with his mask. Shocking.
Watching the 98 SEC title game, it's fucking insane Miss St was actually able to win the west at one point and the standings that year were just bizarre. God bless Jackie Sherill and juco players.
Miss St 6-2
Ole Miss 3-5
The ending of that season will forever hurt my heart
Should’ve won the natty that year, but the Stoerner fumble and then 1 point heartbreak loss to Miss State really sucked.
Fuck Mike DuBose
Miss State was cheating like many have never cheated before
That Tennessee team has to be the luckiest undefeated team ever. We held them to like 250 yards but fumbled 10 times and lost in OT because of a shit kicker. Obviously Clint Stoerner is a fucking idiot and that game was wrapped up. In the SEC title game they beat an average Miss St team (were down in the 4th quarter) who lost by 30+ to 4-7 LSU and Kentucky. Chris Weinke was injured so only had to deal with backup Marcus Outzen in the Fiesta Bowl.
They're also showing the 08 and 09 SECCG tonight.
Get to watch Tebow cry.
The Stoerner fumble might be the most indelible non-Bama cfb memory. One of the first real holy shit moments I remember.
Yeah I couldn't believe that happened when I saw it live
Stoerner fumble, Cam’s run vs LSU, and the Alex Collins lateral are first three holy shit plays that come to mind.
My mom was really church-y at that point and had some choir or singing group over while I watched in the living room. I was 12 at the time.
When that fumble happened I went full on turrets and cursed like a belligerent drunk. Fat lady in the church group was grazing on some food in the kitchen and just looked at me and shook her head like
Tennessee and UGA trading last minute TDs is a more recent one for me.
Cams run brought me out of a blackout state in the student section.
Stoerner and the Scott Frost td pass that got kicked against Mizzou are probably the most non-UF moments that stick out.
Sorry bud. Don't worry SEC Network is about to go dark in 30 minutes so I don't have to relive that fucking 09 game vs Bama.
Like the good lord planned for a Slaw Fan.
On the plus side, we all get to laugh at Peyton for his college failure for all eternity.
Legit threw up before that game. Couldn’t bear the thought of having Florida ruin two perfect seasons in a row
Florida has never had a perfect season
Right, but we were undefeated when we played them in 08 and 09
8 minutes and I can turn on the SECN.
Stuff like this is all subjective, but that SECCG is still the most painful Bama loss for me. That was the first time i I got to go to nearly every game (except Sugar Bowl and SECCG), including all the road games. Got to go to the Blackout game, the overtime win over LSU, and then we finally beat Auburn who had owned us for 6 years... it was an awesome season up until that point. It was the season where we finally came out of the wilderness, where we'd been for most of our lives for most of the posters here up until that point.
Then we actually played pretty damn well in a great game, but Florida still beat us even after we lead in the 4Q iirc. Tebow was incredible. It stung really bad because at the time we just didn't know if we'd be back. We thought we probably would be, but you never know. After going through DuBose and Shula and 6 years of losing to Auburn it was hard to be too smug at the time. It was heartbreaking to be that close and have it snatched away, because you just never know when you'll have that shot again.
2013 kick 6 was up there but it wasn't as bad for me because we'd won 3 titles in 4 years at that point and we were . More of a bump in the road. Also that 2013 team was so untested idk how good of a game they would have played vs FSU but who knows.
my b I misread that
I'm guessing JPW in 2020 has some bs cushy real estate type job. Am I correct Bama fans?
He’s an FA
“After his football career, he became a financial adviser, currently working for Morgan Stanley”
He does color for the radio broadcast. I think he works at a bank or something, but could be wrong about that
1994 SECCG prob second most painful, not going for 2. smdh. I was 9 I believe and went to that one.
JULIO JONES. HOW DO YOU DO
2009 cg was UF playing with house money.
everyone knows we shouldn’t have even been undefeated going into that game, right bertwing ?
That would've been another solid bet although I was confused for a second thinking FA meant free agent
Mark Curles should have been permanently suspended after that bullshit
