Lotta unrest within the Rutgers WBB program right now per various reports HC Stringer signed a 5-year extension last April and then almost immediately went on paid leave, which she extended just days before the season started, citing relaxed covid protocols Now almost a year later players and their parents are starting to wonder when she'll be back. Some are entering the portal Stringer has collected almost $240K in bonuses while on leave All for people taking care of their mental and physical health, but seems like there needs to be better communication with these young people so they know who exactly their coach is and what's expected of them going forward
Speaking of women’s Bball, keep an eye on the wvu hire. Looking like we will go Kim Stephens, she just won a D2 National title. Would inject some life back into the program
He had a bad season, but a lot of those wins without him came against shitty teams (Jackson St, UT Rio Grande, St Francis, Mizzou, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan) and 3 of the losses with him were games without Kofi. 2 more losses were against Purdue and 1 against Houston...
Holy shit what a shot. But that pass to get it to her was terrible and should of been a steal going the other way.
Todd Golden bringing Kevin Hovde to Florida after he spent the past year improving the Richmond program. Good to see them reunited Jonathan Safir joining him as well which is a shock to absolutely no one who follows the basketball analytics world
hey #Xavier Musketeers Skyline sucks and UC is the better Cincinnati school plus Sean Miller is a shitty coach
this sucks but happens with coaching changes. someone (probably Purdue) will be getting a very good player
Interested to see how Earl does here. Not particularly impressed with his overall record, but plenty of people have been pointing out not only how difficult it is to build a program at a military school, but how much moreso it is at a small one like VMI. He took them from being a 9-21 doormat of the SoCon into at least a competitive .500 team. Would not be disappointed if he brings SoCon 1st-teamer Jake Stephens as a grad transfer, and faint hope he can convince Bubba Parham to come play for him again.
