Can’t wait for him to comment block or charge after every Arkansas and Texas Tech defensive possession
Will wades doomsday clock appears to be getting closer to midnight. I’m sure he’ll just still pretend nothing is amiss so he can keep cashing checks. Edit: As I suspected, this is a man unphased by a metaphorical axe right above his head. Basically telling the ncaa “Do it pussies, I dare you”. They’ll probably shuffle their feet for another 3 years, so who could blame him for continuing to openly cheat. Kind of have to respect it.
Bellarmine is going to win the ASun tourney and not be able to play on the big dance because they just joined D1. Jacksonville St, who won the regular season title, will get to go instead. really dumb rule
I feel like that happened in the ASun in the last few years too Edit: https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...a-quirky-rule-into-play-for-the-atlantic-sun/ It happened with Stetson in 2016 too. I think Florida Gulf Coast beat them in that final, so it became moot. Regardless, get your shit together NCAA/ASun teams who are eligible.
Mocs had been short for moccasins, no? Now there is a Scrappy Mockingbird driving the Chattanooga Choo Choo?
Chattanooga was formerly the "Moccasins", named after nearby Moccasin Bend. Several identities have been associated with UTC. A water moccasin mascot was used in the 1920s. A Native American mascot, "Chief Moccanooga", was used until 1996. There was a short time in the 1980s when a moccasin shoe was used as the mascot. Due to politically sensitive issues, it was decided to drop the use of Native American imagery. The nickname "Moccasins" was shortened to "Mocs" and the state bird was selected as mascot. The primary logo was Scrappy at the throttle of a steam locomotive from 1997 until 2007. This tied in with Chattanooga's history as a major railroad hub. Scrappy underwent a re-design in 2008 to better match the appearance of a Northern mockingbird, and dropped the railroad imagery at the same time. Scrappy has remained the same since 2008, other than a few minor alterations.
Is there any logic behind the 4 year waiting period for Bellarmine before being eligible for the tournament after the move up from D2 or is it just another dumb NCAA rule, they just won their conference tournament
He found his level, what he does doesn’t work in the B1G. He’s also an asshole lol and was in the doghouse before transferring.
Having the student section right next to the away fans/bench just seems like a recipe for disaster anyways
I just tuned in with a few minutes left an saw him and I thought Holy Shit that dudes old as fuck and he still plays. Makes sense now. solid move by coach.
