The hope it Dad Chryst retires soon and JL takes over. He's supposedly happy in Wisconsin, as is his family, and I believe they just built a new house.
If there ever was an indication of what the future holds
Also I'm glad to report that every single pouty Penn State poutface has pm'd me to apologize for their dog shit sandbagging in the off-season.
So kudos to them for owning it.
nice win for Maryland
Coombs is taking the UC job when Nebraska hires Fickell.
If Day is like Meyer it's going to take someone hiring him away to get rid of him.
When he became head coach, Day whacked the entire defensive staff, except DL coach Larry Johnson. He was an assistant on the same staff as everyone he fired.
I know but now this is his hired staff. So it'll be interesting how quick he'll be to let someone ago especially since you guys likely coast to another big ten title and playoff appearance despite the defense's issues.
Coombs carries his weight as a recruiter, but it’s clear he’s over his head as a DC.
It’s early, but I didn’t like what I saw Thursday night on D.
not really, he gave most bums 2 years. Quit before he had to fire best man Billy or Schiano.
Of course the Zach Smith exemption
#Maryland Terrapins twitter not to be trifled with.
I’ll believe Luke leaves the state of Ohio when I see it
And yet Mark Turgeon calls the B1G office wanting punishment because Hunter Dickinson was looking at his bench when he scored 2 points.
Purdue/Oregon State actually turned out to be entertaining. Purdue just scored with 5:00 left to go up 23-14.
BTN recap stat, first time Rutgers scored 60 since the Schiano I Era.
I know Bert shit the bed, but love seeing Maryland and Purdue win their P5 matchups.
this conference is not good, let's not pretend it is with these shit QBs
Who is the second best starting QB in the conference?
I am concerned the Alliance may not be as good as the SEC. Sorry everybody!
Clearly not watching Fox rn
I just watched a 10-3 Georgia Clemson game. Fuck that.
Maryland and Purdue will be lucky to make a bowl game. It’s still nice to see the conference win it’s P5 games.
Ed O is the biggest fraud in Louisiana. The gravity is not lost on me.
We have literally been telling you this for months
This was James Franklin’s first road win over a top 15 team as Penn States head coach.
QB play made the difference. Clifford moving up the September Heisman charts, second behind Cade MacNamara (or however you spell his name).
Silly Bastard, JJ McCarthy already passed McNamara in the Sept Heisman polls

Offense: Kenneth Walker
Defense: Riley Moss
ST: Jordan Stout
Frosh: CJ Stroud
Hate this, they were both having huge games.
Bell is a huge loss for UM, and I feel awful for him because I think he could have been a day 2 pick next year if our QB play improved this year.
An Achilles is terrible for a RB to come back from. This could be a career ender for Mo, which is terrible
Man that sucks. He was impressive to watch. He was squeezing through some tight holes.
Nothing worse than OCs who run their nfl draft hopeful RBs into the ground
Every team in the Big Ten East either was ranked or received votes in one of the two polls today.
This week’s Herb Burdette random facts:
Iowa and Iowa State are playing each other with both teams ranked for the first time in history.
MSU’s Kenneth Walker was the first Big Ten RB to top 250 rushing yards in a regular season conference game since Melvin Gordon in 2014.
Ohio State set a school record 10.3 yards per play against Minnesota and leads the country in plays of 50 or more yards.
Ohio State did not give up a sack, allowed only two hurries, and had only one play for negative yards.
Now you all get to guess how many of those stats Herb made up
PC on why Jalen Berger didn't see snaps at RB
“With Jalen, he was doing some good things before,” Chryst said. “It’s just that we had last game … we talked about this. We talked about it a number of times … that how many carries go. A part of it is, we had a lot of snaps last game, but I don’t know how many times we really felt we were in a great rhythm. I think that always helps when you can get guys in and get guys in rhythm. “I’ve liked the way Jalen has practiced this week.”

How we got here
The story also uncovered how loans from the university were recorded in financial reports as generated revenue for athletics, violating NCAA guidelines. Other loans to Rutgers athletics from the Big Ten Conference — $48 million in all — were also recorded as revenue.
Those practices concealed the athletic division’s true annual deficits. The university reported a $10.6 million shortfall to the NCAA in 2019-20 but the true deficit was $73 million that year when the loans and other university and state support are not counted. It could be much higher in fiscal year 2021 because of losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The article also exposed that Rutgers does not have a copy of its contract with the Big Ten.
You have to be really bad, or fraudulent, or both to be this far in debt as a B1G school.
Also, are we sure the mafia doesn’t run the Rutgers AD?
