Dump, do you visit every thread? I’m impressed.
but their B1G schedule is trash
Iowa isnt even on it
When I’m bored I like to see what other people are talking about
Five B1G teams are playing a ranked nonconference opponent this week.
Maryland at Illinois +7.5
Nebraska at Oklahoma (3) -22
Cincinnati (8) at Indiana +3
Michigan State at Miami FL (24) -6.5
Northern Illinois at Michigan -27
Minnesota at Colorado -1.5
Purdue at Notre Dame (12) -7
Kent State at Iowa (5) -22
Tulsa at Ohio State (9) -25
Delaware at Rutgers
Northwestern at Duke +2.5
Auburn (22) at Penn State (10) -6.5
Ohio State 9
Penn State 10
For the second week in a row, every member of the B1G East either is ranked or is receiving votes in one of the two polls.
How are #Penn State Nittany Lions feeling this week?
Cautiously optimistic… auburn has beaten up some shit teams, trying not to read too much into the scores.
Smash that Purdue -7 button
This is a pretty critical week for a lot of B1G teams.
Penn State likely becomes a top 5 team with a win, and at worst we are looking at Iowa and Penn State at 5-6, with a 10/9 showdown that could be the highest ranked B1G matchup that didn’t involve OSU in recent memory.
Indiana rejoins the AP Top 25 if it knocks off Cincinnati (8), and also eliminates the AAC from the playoff discussion.
MSU becomes ranked with a win over Miami (24).
Even Nebraska/Oklahoma (3) and Purdue/ND (12) are potentially huge games, but not a lot of hope for me there.
Updated Herb Burdette B1G self loathing rankings:
Thought Bert would save them, he won’t.
Drunk arrests, no passing offense, shaping up for a massive Michigan game next month.
They’re new at expectations, but still have them dashed.
5. Ohio State
First appearance since 2018, employing the same disregard for defense that made that year so memorable.
Dropping out of rankings: Michigan State and Penn State
Inclusion of Ohio State in that is funny. You’ll still win the big ten and go to the playoff.
That quote is good. Harbaugh's been making way too much sense the last 3-4 years at his pressers.
That’s not going to stop us from bitching about it. This may be the worst B1G champion we have had in the last five seasons.
ATMOSPHERE IS GOING TO BE ELECTRIC!!!
And you guys say you never get big games in prime time. Congrats!
Battle for 2nd best team in Ohio
We’re trying to get all the recruits we brought in for Oregon to forget they came and buy one of the 15,000 tickets that will be available for this one.
Nah man. Akron blows.
Has Lebron picked a side yet
true. Kent State would have made more sense
Akron is playing the FCS Bryant Bulldogs on 9/18, just like the SEC schedules those games the week before Rivalry Week in late November.
This game will be epic.
In 2007, Ohio State once beat Akron 20-2 in a game where Akron’s last 19 possessions were 18 straight three-and-outs, then a fumble to end the game.
This game will be interesting.
Can Nebraska be this bad?
Can Sparty be this good?
It looks like we are trying again so I am ok with no longer self loathing. I forgot how much fun watching football can be when you don’t expect to lose every game 7-6
That’s awesome. If you beat Miami this week, can we start calling you cunty again?
I never stopped being cunty. I just hated our football team for 3.5 years
Collective “you”, as in all of you.
We’re all Vinegar Strokes using different accts anyway *dont IP check us*
You kinda need Heesu back to return to full Cunts status.
Or his sister, right?
Welcome back pussies
Ewwwww, Mertz. Reference tweet two.
Iowa has gone 24 straight games without giving up more than 25 points, the longest streak among P5 teams.
Iowa also has won their last five games against a ranked opponent.
Minnesota has won 20 straight nonconference games, heading into Colorado this weekend as an underdog. The 20 games is the longest streak nationally.
Michigan State has had its first back-to-back games with more than 500 yards total offense since 2014.
take that back right now.
Lmao. What an embarrassment.
Sold! How fast can you get him in a plane?
Uh oh, boat rowers
P.J. Fleck's name mentioned for USC job
No way, that’s great
WE’VE LANDED ON THE MOON
The Purdue band has been playing with what it calls the worlds largest drum since 1921. This week at Notre Dame, they must play without it for the first time since 1979.
Notre Dame renovated in 2017 and Purdue hasn’t played there since 2012. The visitors entrance is now too small for the drum.
In prior games, Notre Dame had allowed Purdue to use a different tunnel for their drum. This week, Notre Dame said no.
Notre Dame had no comment on why they are scared of Purdue’s drum.
I think as of yesterday Purdue announced they are now bringing it and found a way to get it in.
Good, I hope Purdue’s plan involves subterfuge and shocks Notre Dame to its core when they hear the drum.
I hear they air lifted it in.
