Turned it on and he was talking about how he’s no longer able to drink from a straw. Wtf
I’m furious at Kevin Warren!!!

There are no more moves to make, and the B1G is too reactive to do anything anyway.
Would be nice if Delaney was still commish for this. It is what it is at this point. Geographical fits don’t really exist that make sense.
Josh Pate is a mouth breathing moron
Hopefully someone at Fox will fill the void. It’s rare to see a leader as consistently tone deaf as Warren.
Srs what’s the move? Don’t see an obvious one at all.
But I am kidding myself. Fox will have every big game playing at noon while it airs baseball in prime time.
I said it our team thread, but it’s my opinion that Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC has serious negative long-term recruiting and playoff implications for the B1G.
If the B1G conference isn’t proactive and kicks the can down the road on this issue like they’ve done with others, it’s going to be bad.
There isn’t one. The move was Texas and Oklahoma, and it’s been made.
The ACC already tied up it’s media rights to avoid another raid when we took Maryland.
and don’t even get me started on Nicole Auerbach
That doesn't mean he's wrong
Yeah regardless of how you feel about his handling of the 2020 season, he didn't look all that impressive from what I saw today.
McNamara named the starter.
I don't see any proactive moves to make, and the B1G is incapable of being proactive. S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C! is about to be 10x worse. They are about to poach the top two brands from a P5 conference and ditch the rest. There are enough CFB brands out there to counter any moves made by the SEC. The problem is that they are spread too thin, supporting too many schools that don't bring enough eyeballs to the table. That's why I joke over and over again about eliminating Purdue. Because I am dead serious about eliminating schools like Purdue.
I could see Ohio State breaking away from the B1G down the road if recruiting begins to suffer. Maybe rope Penn State, Notre Dame, and a few of the top ACC brands into starting a new conference.
don't think Bowman has made it to campus yet and McCarthy needs to learn the playbook/redshirt
agree, glad i stopped caring about football
Yeah if we are going to face McCarthy I'd rather it be a McCarthy with a handful of games under his belt rather than an entire season's worth.
Harbaugh did a good job imo.
it would make sense to add in Iowa State geographically, but it doesn't add much financially.
I’d rather see them make a run at some of the west coast schools like Oregon, Washington or Colorado. Given our relationship with the Pac12 I know that won’t happen though.
The best move right now is to enter a scheduling alliance that impacts TV rights.
The PAC 12 absorbs Kansas, then see if the B1G, Pac12 and ACC can create a scheduling format that benefits them all while isolating the SEC.
It won’t happen.
USC and Colorado lets do it
B1g needs to get in some areas with population growth. Midwest talent goes down ever year and the pull to the sec for recruits gets greater every year too. With texas and ou in the sec, this thing could be going somewhat the way of college baseball(where 90% of the top recruits want to play in the south(mostly the sec)).
I think a B1G/PAC scheduling alliance of some sort for football/Bball is the only way we can really counter it.
Damn i forgot Bielema is back
probably just do all sports, and have to wonder if we are headed to 11 or even full slate of power 5 football games at this point
I love him.
The ACC has to know the SEC will come for its schools, as will we. They should be interested as well.
we had that all set up some time ago but Larry Scott backed out like a bitch
Is it 2010 again already?
I did really like that idea though. Big fan now that I live in Pac-12 territory.
A crazy idea
to the b1g
do 2 divisions(West and East) with 2 pods in each
Northwestern?(Because chicago is such a hub and its an easy place to travel in and out from?)
Play all conference games (5 against your pod, 3 against the pod opposite your division, and 2 against the other 2 pods). Then rotate the conference title between indy and Pasadena. Obviously home games would be lost but i have to imagine the increased quality of games and the crazy tv right $s would make up for it. Maybe even make it so you could do a spring game against a group of 5 team. Just do this for football, and have some sort of scheduling alliance for the other sports.
We have to stop him
Indianapolis is perfect for it. Yet another mistake for this fucking guy.
I’m tired of being a fan of a team that constantly doesn’t go to Indy. I think it’s time we introduce other places that they won’t play in either.
I’m in favor of this move.
I dont see why people have an issue with this, everyone thought it was dumb to move the basketball tourney to NYC and then it was awesome.
A lot easier to fill a basketball stadium when all teams are invited a year in advance, than fill a football stadium that is most likely very far away from both schools on probably little notice.
Spoken like someone that's never been
College football is coming home!
Take his credentials
I know I’m probably in the minority itt but I don’t want to watch my team compete for a championship in the snow
USBank Stadium it is.
