Maybe all these years of coaching searches and rumors have made me too cynical, but all of these reports about Kendal Briles seem like the kinds of things that Kendal Briles (or one of his reps) would leak to make himself look good.

Briles seemed more committed to running his offense at tempo regardless of time and score or anything other factors than any other coach I’ve ever seen. Maybe he was just more concerned with putting up numbers and getting another job. Going 3 and out and taking 15 seconds off the clock when our defense was sucking wind and on the field for 100 plays.
he doesn't really do that at arkansas, but he has 4-6 calls a game that are absolutely idiotic running for 6 yards a pop, let's run some bullshit end around and lose 7 on first down we also have a good qb who he doesn't trust to make plays
