We need a new DC. What's the market like for that? We already let our top alumni in the CFB assistant coaching ranks go to ND
Did edsall donate his own money to the program for stuff? I mean he isn’t a good coach but he tried to help the program
The sad thing is this will invariably happen, despite the fact being there are a number of other candidates, particularly diverse ones, that should get a shot before him. Same as it ever was though in college football…
The Seahawks are 1-2 and last in what is maybe the toughest division in the NFL. Russ Wilson sort of asked for a trade last offseason and Carroll and his staff are constantly asked whether his scheme (both offensive and defense) are modern enough. I want to see what happens if Seattle has an underwhelming year. A breakup could be good for both Carroll and Seattle/Russ.
I doubt Lynn gets that job, but I've been impressed with him as an OC in Detroit so far considering what he has to work with. Guessing he'll get looks around the league for NFL jobs again in January, and I could see him being better the second time around with the game management stuff that was his downfall with LAC.
