You just hate to see such blatant disregard for rules at institutions of higher education
Lol figures Mullen would break rules and still suck at recruiting.
Love the days when players were referred to as "material"
Their external stuff is now explicitly stating the bowl name. Oof
I miss getting mad at him and Lou. Great entertainment
That was fast
Wasn't this already the rule in NFL?
That seems really fast.Wonder why most other issues take years to resolve
The ncaa should really just block any school under investigation from signing any new kids until they make a conclusion
Tough luck #Texas Longhorns
Nothing to see here
Rovells been crying about Texas ever since it was announced
You realize that's a Darren Rovell tweet, right?
Dude would die for Ole Miss wes tegg Eathan Edwards
As more star players sit out NY6 games, there will be no choice but to expand the playoff.
Good. Bowl games are pointless outside of the additional practices. Unless you’re someone nostalgic for the Rose Bowl or something.
Have the Rose Bowl be the National Championship game every year on New Years Day. What was the reasoning for having a month off before bowl games anyway? I assume to have people travel and waste money on bowls over the holidays? Have a wk off and start the playoffs. Be done with bowls
Wonder if any bowls get wrecked by COVID. Seems like it's popping up everywhere again
would think the Playoffs will have some positives
Our team is 99.4% vaxxed according to Byrne, but you know it’s coming.
So are just about every professional sports teams yet it’s ravaging them rn.
My answer will always be this game.
the Bonfire game
2001 is when the switch flipped from casually interested to fanatical for me, started off 0-3 with losses at OU, Texas, and eventual ACC champ Maryland, then we drew 5th ranked FSU at home and smoked them 41-9 en route to a strong rest of the season defeating Auburn in the Peach Bowl
I miss that defense
edit: actually thinking about this a bit further, I'm pretty sure the FSU/VT natty was the game that planted the seed in me, Vick just blew my mind
I was at the 91 game. I already hated Miami. Their team priest celebrating by flipping us off while running around will never be forgotten
2002 was the first year I was hardcore into PSU. I started following college football in '98 and just increased each season from there. 2000 was probably the first season I was deeply engaged in the season start to finish.
01 for me. My freshman year, plus we went 9-3 and beat tOSU in a bowl
First CFB memory is losing to FSU in the 1994 Orange Bowl after the 93 season. 1994 season is my first memory of a full season.
sc_chant Big Ern McCracken
In all seriousness, I was fully expecting him to go. Then this week, Chadwell had 2 quotes where he was saying the staff expected him to be back but understood if he left. The Tom Brady NIL deal probably helped us a little. It proved he didn't have to go somewhere else to get what he deserved.
God damnit Boston College
Lol find me a league handling Covid well right now. This guy is a complete idiot.
The fighting Berts are ready and willing.
The MAC should be calling all the bowls looking for cash- they have teams dumb enough to play twice for $250k
Apparently teams that have already played are not eligible. It can only be 5-7 teams at this point.
