The ncaa should really just block any school under investigation from signing any new kids until they make a conclusion
Good. Bowl games are pointless outside of the additional practices. Unless you’re someone nostalgic for the Rose Bowl or something.
Have the Rose Bowl be the National Championship game every year on New Years Day. What was the reasoning for having a month off before bowl games anyway? I assume to have people travel and waste money on bowls over the holidays? Have a wk off and start the playoffs. Be done with bowls
2001 is when the switch flipped from casually interested to fanatical for me, started off 0-3 with losses at OU, Texas, and eventual ACC champ Maryland, then we drew 5th ranked FSU at home and smoked them 41-9 en route to a strong rest of the season defeating Auburn in the Peach Bowl I miss that defense edit: actually thinking about this a bit further, I'm pretty sure the FSU/VT natty was the game that planted the seed in me, Vick just blew my mind
I was at the 91 game. I already hated Miami. Their team priest celebrating by flipping us off while running around will never be forgotten
2002 was the first year I was hardcore into PSU. I started following college football in '98 and just increased each season from there. 2000 was probably the first season I was deeply engaged in the season start to finish.
First CFB memory is losing to FSU in the 1994 Orange Bowl after the 93 season. 1994 season is my first memory of a full season.
In all seriousness, I was fully expecting him to go. Then this week, Chadwell had 2 quotes where he was saying the staff expected him to be back but understood if he left. The Tom Brady NIL deal probably helped us a little. It proved he didn't have to go somewhere else to get what he deserved.
The MAC should be calling all the bowls looking for cash- they have teams dumb enough to play twice for $250k
