Franklin, Kopps, likely Slavens, Battles, Wicklander, and Goodheart will get drafted and not return. I could see Welch, Noland, Costieu, and a couple others having decisions to make on whether to return or not depending on where they get drafted. Welch is a great hitter but has limited AB’s and hasn’t played C yet. Vermillion is a question mark as well. We will definitely return Robert Moore, Cayden Wallace, Wiggins, Pallette. Some future elite guys imo that haven’t pitched this season due to injuries are Nick Griffin and Tyler Cacciatori, and Gabe Starks is a lot like Wiggins that has seen very limited action but has a ton of potential. Last years recruiting class was our best ever.
Irvine and Stanford are both better than LSU. But LSU has Dylan Crews who is a freshman superstar that is really fun to watch. So maybe flip back for his ABs
Couple photos from Swayze this weekend. Was able to make it up to Oxford for our games against SEMO and the 2nd vs. FSU. 11th venue I've been in to watch USM baseball.
congratulations to all of our stanford posters please feel free to enjoy some fried cheese near the baseball stadium next week
lol I was going to post this, but I’m not watching wasn’t sure if they cut to some LSU watch site or something.
LSU Ks swinging at a fastball way up for out one in B8. Terrible swing decision given the situation they're in and the need for contact Lucky for them next batter grounds one in a manner that allows a run to score and the batter to reach, putting runners at corners with 1 out 7-7
Yes our overweight DH with zero steals on the year standing maybe 2 feet from the bag deserves 4 pickoff attempts in 2 pitches. Lol.
The only explanation that makes sense is they were expecting a suicide squeeze and to get the runner breaking off from 3rd, but the lazy throws to first don’t really support that. Just pure stupidity imo
